This was definitely among the top 5 worst beers I have yet tried! Deep gold, no head, wet-dishrag aroma. Sticky sweet palate followed by incredibly harsh medicinal alcohol finish. Truly undrinkable!

Can at Jacob Lövenlunds place. Golden colour with a Big fast dissapering white head. Light alcoholic malty aroma and a sweet caramel malty alcoholic taste. Medium body and a sweet alcoholic finish.

Theres a reason i walk through glasgow and see even junky scumbag with a can of this, cause its just alcoholic water that is ment only for the scum of the earth. The fact it comes in cans is a good thing though, as it means they can chase u down the street with a bottle.

Looks OK i s'pose, decent creamy head with a fair bit of lace happening. Colour was a very dull gold, quite pale. Supersweet, with heaps of alcohol showing, stewed fruit, boiled veggies, and just too much alcohol and metal in there. Quite sticky aswell, and a thin, harsh mouthfeel.

Canned. Golden with a small, frothy head. Sweet alco-aroma. Flavour from some marcipan, but overwhelmed by the alcohol. Impossible to finish!

Dark golden colour with an off white head. Malty, light caramel sweet aroma with a note of alcohol. Sweet malty flavor with notes of alcohol in the finish.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2011 Mar, 2003 The Tennents brewery was founded in 1740 in Glasgow. It was taken over by the English brewery Charrington in 1963, which in turn was taken over recently by the global Interbrew. Tennent’s has a long history of brewing lager, being the first British brewery to successfully introduce this vile substance in 1885 after Hugh Tennent visited Germany. Super strong lagers are increasing in popularity due to the success of the down-and-outs’ favourite tipple Carlsberg Special Brew. This imaginatively named Super Strong Lager is a dark urine colour, and sits like a lazy fat slob in the glass giving off a steady stream of gentle gas. The nose is reminiscent of metal, possibly aluminium. Initial taste is sweetness, quite pleasant with a good hit of honey. Firm mouthfeel like a warm duvet, with a gentle carbonation toward the finish just to add a tingle of interest. A very light metallic hop bitterness completes the experience. Very easy to drink for its strength and mostly fairly pleasant. A genuine alcopop for the tramp and slut generation. This will get the consumer drunk with little effort. [1.2]
May, 2008 Drinkable. Full bodied, malty sweet and with no nasty flavours. OK. [2.5]
March, 2011 An enjoyable firm bodied pale beer with a rounded and pleasing character. Few hops. A touch of cereal. This is not the most exciting beer in the world, but, apart from the cereal notes, it is fairly smooth and drinkable with pleasant fruit and malt notes. Cheap as chips from my local corner shop, and very drinkable. [2.7]

Canned. Quite strong. Very sweet aroma and flavour. A perfect beer to relax with in the bus after a long day at GBBF.
