2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 12/20
This beer is a staple of the tramp diet and I am a regular drinker of this tipple.
I first tried this in the hope that it would taste a bit better than Special Brew. How wrong I was. This 9.0% beer has the signature paint stripper smell and taste bud-killing palate to match. However, with most other high strength beers, it can become bearable with frequent drinking.
It smells like a mixture of cheese, gasoline with a little bit of actual beer in there, the can it comes in is unmistakable with SUPER written all over it to make sure nobody overlooks the trampy-ness of this beer.
It can be seen in the hands of the homeless everywhere and is gaining a strong rep amongst the students out there today, partially thanks to all the street corner shops selling it for £1:20 a pop.
Nethertheless, this beer is a definite must try for all, once you can get over the cardboard like taste and the hammering hangover, this head spinning potion is a sure fire way to drunk-dome and will soon be one of your favourite super beers.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can from local offie. Golden amber beer with large frothy head. Aroma is malty and some orchard fruits. Taste is malts, herbal, some caramel and a bit of alcohol harshness in the finish. A little oil on the palate. Not bad really.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 5/20
This is everywhere in italy, thought it was just for the pondlife in uk! Clear orange ale with white head, plenty of lacing. Aroma of sweet rotting fruit, malty with alcohol spice. Taste is same with alcohol burn, not subtle. Palate is good though, a bit oily and with measured carbonation. Not good in general.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle from a covenience store in Pisa. Clear golden body with a fluffy white head. Steady carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of sweetcorn, lemon and alcohol. Flavour of white sugar, sweetcorn juice, malt sweetness and a harsh alcohol burn. Finishes sour and metallic. Medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. Never again...

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Can. This jet fuel poured orange. Smells like creamed corn. Boozy malts. Drinks better than some in the "tramp beer enthusiasts" list of favorites. Itís got the honey like tobacco hops going on. Caramel malts.. Some Apple some chewy grassy hop. Look itís almost like a cheap Belgian. Ok!

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Draught in some random bar, Rome, December 2013.
Needed a 9% ABV blast after drink sour craft beers all afternoon elsewhere in Rome: this did the trick.
This is just a hangover in waiting really: however Iíll be fair with my scores and words.
Looked good, clear, bright and clean: a true golden brew with a full if thin white head.
Grainy nose and taste, the alcohol barely hidden within the weak flavour.
This is the sort of beer that gives Scotland and Tennentís a bad name.
