Bottle… Pours perfectly clear – no color. Refined to the max. Leaves uneven Rocky Mountain-like film on the glass. Seen better legs on a chair. For me, the nose delivers big-time notes of licorice and an undertone of lemongrass. I’m not picking up on any of the fruits mentioned on the bottle’s tasting notes or previous ratings. Medium-bodied with a lightly oily mouthfeel. The flavor presents licorice, rice and kisses of lemon pith acidity and astringency. Finishes clean and nice. Refreshing… even at 16% ABV.

Mar 26, 2009 Bottle courtesy of dkachur on 03/14/2009. Very clear body with some moderate legs which are long lasting. Huge tropical and citrus fruit aroma with some faint rice in the background. Sweet vanilla and fruity flavor, some faint rice in the background. Medium full body with no carbonation.

Mar 14, 2009 Clear pour with a slight tint. Sweet and fruity aroma, banana, apple and pear. Very easy to drink, not hot at all. Taste is of vanilla, cantalope, pear and a hint of kiwi. "Not very sake like."

Mar 14, 2009 Bottle. Pours a very pale yellow color. Strong fruity aroma... melon, peach, pear. Taste is strong melon, vanilla, peach, pear. Lightly sweet. Full bodied.

Oct 16, 2008 Not sure of vintage. Slightly pale yellow, clear pour. Aroma is fruity with hints of pear and herbal flower like. Dry yet very smooth taste with hints of apple and pear. Very nice and easy to drink.
