hopscotch (8212) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - FEB 15, 2013

Draft... Clear brown pour with flashes of crimson when held up to light and a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Good retention. The bouquet is a blend of dank, hempen, piny hops with an underpinning of caramel and chocolate malts. Full-bodied and lightly creamy with busy carbonation. The flavor offers bitter, rindy hops seamlessly merged with a lesser caramel note. Finishes acrid, medium bitter and then dry. Grassy bitterness clings to my cheeks and palate and lingers.
