Draft at Coffee District. Black in color with a thin bubbly head. Aroma wasn’t over hoppy but the hops did make an appearance. A tad sweet with subtle hints of vanilla and malts. A very decent black IPA.

Draft… Pitch black ale with a small, creamy, cappuccino head. Excellent retention. The enjoyable aroma proposes chocolate, oak, vanilla and a mild note of pouch tobacco tucked away beneath sturdy layers of singed malts and moderately bitter hops. Medium to full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and lively carbonation. The flavor is burnt, bitter and a touch chocolaty. Finishes much like it tastes – bitter, burnt and dry.
