This is a very good well balanced brown. Medium head one of the most balanced beers I've ever drank. At low alcohol I give this even a higher score simply amazing good job. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at abraxas. Nice thick head and lace on warm reddish brown body. Really subdued aroma, smells blandish. Palate and flavors filled with tasty bready malts and dark molasses lightly toasted crusts. Simple but fresh and good. Nice brown ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

glennmastrange (2220) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JUN 21, 2011
Tap. Moderate malt aromas of bread, nutty and toasted, light herbs for the hops, light dough and earth for the yeast with a hint of pepper. Head is huge, rocky, off-white with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is clear dark reddish brown. Flavor starts lightly to moderately sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is on the lighter side of medium, watery and has a lively carbonation and a lightly astringent finish. Great malt balance in this Brown Ale.

hopscotch (8867) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - FEB 9, 2011
Draft... This beer rocks!... Clear, very dark crimson ale with a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Fantastic retention. The aroma is chocolaty and citric with big, deeply roasted coffee notes, pink grapefruit and musk. Medium to full-bodied with a velvety mouthfeel and pillow-soft carbonation. Well-balanced flavor... sweet chocolate, caramel and toasted nuts play agreeably with moderate grapefruit rind bitterness. Lengthy, malty, citrusy-bitter finish. World class brew! Lots of promise here.
