The 12 ounce bottle poured a crystal clear pale yellow beverage with a small fizzy head that was entirely diminishing leaving no lacing on the glass. The aroma was ... well ... what you would expect from a lemon-lime soda. It was sickeningly sweet and full of citrus - no malt and no hops ... in other words there is no hint of a beer here at all. The body was light with goof carbonation and a watery - syrupy texture. The flavor started off very sweet, full of citrus and remained that way through the average length finish. This is really a "hard" lemon-lime aid, NOT a beer.

Okay, in A-B’s defense there is a market for this beer, but it is not me. This is *not* a beer for beer drinkers it is a beer for someone who wants alcoholic lime soda. It pours clear yellow the white head fades immediately. Zero lacing. The smell is not bad if a lime(Fruit / Vegetable Beer) is what you were looking for. It smelled a bit like a Margarita. Unfortunately it did not taste like a margarita. It was sweet and dextrinous and seemed very artificial. Limited malt character and no noticeable hops. The beer completely fell apart in the mouth with no substantial body. It was more like seltzer water. The finish is mildly dry with a lingering agave Tequila taste but not quite right. As for drinkability, if you can get past the fact, that you could make this with a splash of tequila lime syrup and seltzer, I guess its drinkable, but why would you. If I just had spicy Mexican food and this was the only thing available to cool off my mouth sure, it it not that bad. But I won’t go out of my way to get it again. Hope this is helpful. Cheers!

My mother things this is the best beer she has EVER had... so I just had to try it. Well.. it smelled ok, and I was looking forward to the taste. However I was deeply saddened to to taste the flavor of cheap beer mixed with fake lime flavoring.. .I wouldn’t give this beer to my dog!! Needless to say I’m putting my mother on a strict diet of Corona only!

Agave? The garbage that Tequila is made of? Terrible terrible terrible. The aroma is awful, and the flavor is no better. I’d rather drink malt liquor.

Disgusting. An American example of a German Radler (lager and a lemon limish soda) with the extra touch of tequila flavoring. Way too sweet and a horrible flavor overall.

Bottle from Kroger. Poured clear light pale color with an average rocky white head that mostly diminished. Light sour citrus aroma. Light body with a watery texture with soft carbonation. Light bitter sweet flavor with a bitter finish of short duration. Drinkable summer brew.
