A roommate of mine once brought this home because he wanted to try it. Taste isn’t that horrible (compared to what I expected). Poured it and gave it to a friend and told him it was Corona with lime juice. He bought it. That should tell you the flavor, except substitute "lime juice" with "Sprite". It is so ridiculous, so silly and cheasy, that I can’t help but enjoy it...VERY occasionally, and only to wash down some chips and salsa, I assure you...but I don’t think it’s any worse than any other Mexican ranchhand beer. A strange sweetness nests with this brew, much like Froot Loops.
No hops flavor, mild maltness. A must try at least once, dont expect to drink a six-pack anytime soon. nick76 (2652), Tampa, Florida, USA

It certainly gives it some flavor. Quite unique citrus like flavor. Also very sweet. Pours thin and has almost no head. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

Citrus Aroma…Lime….Reminds me of Stale Honey Combs… The Honey and Lime Do Their Best to Cover The Fact That This is STILL a Swill Beer…But Have to Say, I’d Look For This Over Corona. bubbleflubber (892), Collinsville, Virginia, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Dec 28, 2004 Updated: May 30, 2006A fair review: Poured light blond into the glass, with a small head that left slight lacing in the glass. The beer starts with a cloying aroma. The nose is SO overwhelmingly "cotton candy lime", that it’s obviously trying WAY TOO HARD. The taste follows suit, almost like a lime took a corn whiz down my throat. Very cloying, indeed. Don’t waste your time; Sprite is cheaper. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/20 | Dec 2, 2004 Sampled from the bottle. Clear yellow body with a foamy white head. Smells like lime, cheap lager and what I suppose is cheap tequila. Tastes like a cheap lager beer with lime rind and paper. Laughable stuff!
