1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 JPDIPSO (4957) - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA - APR 18, 2005
Light, very light straw color with a diminishing fluff white head. Lime aromas with mild pear and resin. Fizzy light feel. Flavors of mild lemon and lime mixed with a hint of agave and a honey dryness. Very much a lime/lemon soda. No real malt found, but that is the case with many A-B products. Would rate slightly higher if listed as a fruit/herb brew rather than a pale lager. Somewhat like a very light radler.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Lumpy (1802) - Carrollton, Texas, USA - APR 8, 2005
UPDATED: SEP 15, 2005 Bottle. It tastes like beer, sprite, and lime mixed together. It isn’t good, but it is much better than the normal Mexican Pale Lager. Reminds me of fruit loops. I like it.

This brew really isn’t that bad. The flavor is exactly what I thought/hoped it would be. A limey brew that goes well with chips and salsa. I may be drinking an older bottle, which may explain the fact that it isn’t as lively carbonated as it should be. Or, that may just be the way it is, the Blue Agave nectar may be softening the carbonation. Aroma is of lime, and not of beer at all. Extremely pale gold in color. Lively visible carbonation. White head that fully diminishes quickly. Clear. Tastes a little like Corona with the lime already in it. Not bad, but needs some more carbonation.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Brought home from NYC by colleague Vinholdt - thanx Jan. Straw yellow in colour with a bobbly, white head that fades fast but never disappears completely. By the first sip this is reminiscent of a German Radler - a mix of Lager and lemonade. Here it’s lime-extract that adds the citrus-flavour, which rapidly mixes with the flavour of blue agave - best known as the main ingredient in Tequila. Watery, Corona-like beer-pop spiced up a little and marked as a party sensation. Who bothers...

Not beer to me so it does not give me an overall impression that is favorable. But more falor than most pales. Just a little saucy!

This is not great! I have no idea who thought of this beer (can we really call it that?) but they must have been on something. I tried it when it first came out and have regretted every single day since.
