Papsoe (14642), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 15, 2005 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Brought home from NYC by colleague Vinholdt - thanx Jan. Straw yellow in colour with a bobbly, white head that fades fast but never disappears completely. By the first sip this is reminiscent of a German Radler - a mix of Lager and lemonade. Here it’s lime-extract that adds the citrus-flavour, which rapidly mixes with the flavour of blue agave - best known as the main ingredient in Tequila. Watery, Corona-like beer-pop spiced up a little and marked as a party sensation. Who bothers... Oakes (8058), gone rambling, Vietnam Jan 5, 2001 Bov (5403), Bienne, Switzerland Oct 2, 2000 strong lime aroma, sweet, too much carbonation jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Oct 23, 2008 12oz bottle-pours a dissipating foamy white head and pale yellow color with effervescence. Aroma is lime, some grain. Taste is herbal, lime, some grain, soapy, thin. Un-enjoyable. Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Sep 13, 2004 I’m amazed that I liked this. There’s lots of flavored "malt beverages" out there, and most of them taste like I would imagine slurping out of a urinal with a scent cake would taste like. This one actually tasted like a beer with some interesting flavorings. It’ll never be a fave, but can hit the spot on a hot, humid day. JPDIPSO (4865), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Apr 18, 2005 Light, very light straw color with a diminishing fluff white head. Lime aromas with mild pear and resin. Fizzy light feel. Flavors of mild lemon and lime mixed with a hint of agave and a honey dryness. Very much a lime/lemon soda. No real malt found, but that is the case with many A-B products. Would rate slightly higher if listed as a fruit/herb brew rather than a pale lager. Somewhat like a very light radler. jbrus (4835), Delft, Netherlands Jul 6, 2004 I had this one as Tinkoff Tequiza with 3.5% ABV. Artificial lime aroma. Pale golden color, white head, fair lace. Lemonade and lime, very sweet, sticky, like a cocktail. Not bad if you like something refreshing on a hot summer day. BückDich (4793), McCall, Idaho, USA Dec 17, 2002 Tastes like corona and lime. The girls like it. I could actually drink this one, but can find much better for the price.
