Bottle. Nice fresh key lime aroma with a hint of agave/mezcal. Medium yellow with small head. Key lime flavor with a hint of the agave (mezcal/cheap tequila). Moderate carbonation. Not a bad drink but nothing I recognize as beer - no malt, no hops. Is like a Corona with lime without the skunkiness but that someone put some watered down tequila in (Iím having a Tijuana flashback - I need some street tacos now!)

Drank with ilovedarkbeer. Better than Michelob lime and Cactus. Pours with a fizzy white head and a pale yellow body. Ginger and seven-up aroma. Gin and tonic taste. Fizzy mouth.

12 oz. bottle. Corona knock-off. Not much to say, except obviously marketed at those drinking on public patios and beaches. Light golden pour, no head, carbonated, lime flavoring, tangy, faint corn. If you must, go with Corona instead.

Ernest (6342) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 29, 2003
Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is clear light yellow. Aroma is a strong note of lemon and lime, light notes of spearmint and honey, hints of chile and latex paint. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic. Light to medium body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. The resemblance to Sprite is remarkable. Difficult to rate the aroma, as it has no beer character whatsoever...it's actually somewhat pleasant, just...well, like soda pop.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. Like watery Corona with lime flavoring added... so/so at best.

"stick with Corona...are you kidding??? This is not a good beer by ANY means, but at least the fake Tequila flavoring is something different and covers up the crappy beer taste a little. I suppose adding a lime to Corona does the same. They both suck."

Drinking this in my official Tequiza glass that I picked up at a tour of the AB brewery in Jacksonville a few years ago - how quaint! Not bad from a, um, "I think I'll have a lemon flavored alcoholic drink" perspective - but it is supposed to be a beer. Quickly fading soft white head, light golden appearance. Aroma reminds me of club soda - as does the mouthfeel. Flavor - like strong lemonade - no beer essence to it whatsoever. What flavor there is fades quikly as well - bland aftertaste. Overpriced as well at $6.29 a six pack.

Iím amazed that I liked this. Thereís lots of flavored "malt beverages" out there, and most of them taste like I would imagine slurping out of a urinal with a scent cake would taste like. This one actually tasted like a beer with some interesting flavorings. Itíll never be a fave, but can hit the spot on a hot, humid day.

Bottles. Pours a golden body with a fizzy white head. Citrus, hints of lime and agave. Fresh crisp and clean. One of the better pales iíve had from AB.
