Tinkoff Tequiza. Pale yellowish drink with strong lime aroma, amazingly refreshing but very simple.

Bottle from Kroger. Poured clear light pale color with an average rocky white head that mostly diminished. Light sour citrus aroma. Light body with a watery texture with soft carbonation. Light bitter sweet flavor with a bitter finish of short duration. Drinkable summer brew.

Okay, in A-Bís defense there is a market for this beer, but it is not me. This is *not* a beer for beer drinkers it is a beer for someone who wants alcoholic lime soda. It pours clear yellow the white head fades immediately. Zero lacing. The smell is not bad if a lime(Fruit / Vegetable Beer) is what you were looking for. It smelled a bit like a Margarita. Unfortunately it did not taste like a margarita. It was sweet and dextrinous and seemed very artificial. Limited malt character and no noticeable hops. The beer completely fell apart in the mouth with no substantial body. It was more like seltzer water. The finish is mildly dry with a lingering agave Tequila taste but not quite right. As for drinkability, if you can get past the fact, that you could make this with a splash of tequila lime syrup and seltzer, I guess its drinkable, but why would you. If I just had spicy Mexican food and this was the only thing available to cool off my mouth sure, it it not that bad. But I wonít go out of my way to get it again. Hope this is helpful. Cheers!

This "beer" left me conflicted. Itís drinkable, in a soda pop kind of way, but tastes little or nothing like beer. The only thing that might give the presumed "beerness" of this stuff away is itís miller-like appearance and odor, though the lime tries to overwhelm that last bit. Not a poor drink to cut your thirst with if itís really hot, but to be avoided if your actually looking for beer.

I liked this one. It is much better than the other mass-bottled lime-flavored beers. i like the blue agava flavor. The base beer is pretty lousy. The flavors bring it up slightly for me.

Very strong citrus taste added. Like drinking a poor mexican beer with strong artificial lime flavor added...too much. Not surprised that it was discontinued.

Margarita in a bottle. I guess having been a bartender I can appreciate the otherwise rather strange taste to a beer lover. Not bad if you like something a little diferent now and then.

I liked the beer, but for being an american beer it reminded me of a mexican beer. It taste like a mexican beer I had down in Cancun.

UPDATED: APR 24, 2008 Bottle. Pours a light golden yellow color with a decent white head that fades away fast. Aroma is of lime, salt and tequila. The aroma reminds me of Sprite or 7-UP. The taste is about the same, kind of sweet. Very refreshing and incredibly easy to drink. Pretty good cold or warm. I donít think this is close to Corona at all. Overall, this is pretty tasty beer and would be great to have during a hot summer day. Also the bottle cap is pretty neat looking

Bottles. Pours a golden body with a fizzy white head. Citrus, hints of lime and agave. Fresh crisp and clean. One of the better pales iíve had from AB.
