I liked this one. It is much better than the other mass-bottled lime-flavored beers. i like the blue agava flavor. The base beer is pretty lousy. The flavors bring it up slightly for me.

This should be a shandy. Shandies are nice, refreshing, popular with old people in Scotland. This is not. Took a sip. Put it down and left it. If you were dying of thirst, sure.

Tasted from bottle at a party. Awful, just awful. Base is a bad macro adjunct lager with loads of nasty candy flavors. Metallic, soapy, stale, chemical, offensive. Why?!

My favorite beer on earth. I miss this brew, retired for a few years now. The best summer cooler-beer ever conceived. Slightly sweet, the hint of Tequila, agave nectar and lime just made this taste perfect to my tongue. I am working furiously (and probably to no avail) to get them to bring this back.

UPDATED: OCT 14, 2010 One of the big names when it comes to Mexican style crappy Lagers. Up there (or down there) with Corona, Modelo, Dos Equis, Pacifico, and probably one of two more I can’t think of.

Bad sickening flavor. If you must drink a mexican lager, stick with the established brands like Corona. This one uses too much artificial flavoring. I don’t recommend this beer

Pours a pale golden yellow, nose is lime candy and tonic water, taste is jolly ranchers dipped in soap.

UPDATED: SEP 2, 2010 This stuff was terrible. Anyway, tequila (even crappy imitation flavoring), limes and beer are sold separately for a reason. It’s possible that I’d prefer urine

Very strong citrus taste added. Like drinking a poor mexican beer with strong artificial lime flavor added...too much. Not surprised that it was discontinued.
