Brain Candy is named for the experience that our Belgian IPA encourages. There is nothing but art and science at work in this creation using Belgian yeast, rock candy sugar, domestic malts and aromatic hops to create a complex but palatable beer. We thought about doing some sketch comedy dressed as both genders and multiple nationalities to help you all understand this one, but decided to just let the beer do the talking.

Draft. A hazy amber in the glass with a creamy off-white head that has a thin layer lasting and good lacing. Belgium spice aroma. The flavor found spice, citrus hop, and a toasted malt background. Medium body and a medium hop kick in the finish.

Pint at Terminal BrewHouse. Cloudy orange, big white head. Smells yeasty, fruity, with some citrus notes. Flavor is much hoppier than the aroma suggests. Lotst of Belgian yeasty flavors, lots of big American Hops. Seems a bit boozy, as well. Doesn’t skimp on the flavors, but it doesn’t quite mesh as well I would hope. Still a tasty brew, though.

Murky brownish orange color with a white head. Aroma contains citrus, caramel, spices, perfume with herbal notes. The flavor is rather bitter with some pine, lemons, orange, buscuit, and brown sugar. Finish is also bitter but sour too. Overall this is pretty good.
