Heed! Pint! Now! Eye then! We have brewed up a Scottish masterpiece that is sure to have all the cheese eating surrender monkeys and soft heeded sassanacks shaking in their tiny crotched unwashed knickers. Our deep amber brew with just the right amunt of malt sweetness balanced with a touch of hops to balance the end (anyone who says the Scottish donít use hops will get their face smashed off their face!) So, relax and get a pint of this 80 schilling beauty into yer BELLY! And now our Scottish Ale would like a word with you. Dead Sexy Scottish: Iím Dead Sexy. You Are Crap.

Draught at brewpub. Light malt with caramel notes. Some sweetness that sticks out. Ok.

On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy copper body with very good head that laves thick lacing on the glass. Mild flavor and aroma. Not bad, but not quite up with an average Scottish Ale from Scotland (from whence I have recently returned). The mouthfeel does hold itís own, or better, being nicely smooth, medium-light, with medium carbonation that has a nice soft (natural) feel.

Tap. Poured clear dark brown color with medium frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium dark toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium dark toasted sweet malt flavor with a medium toasted sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew.

Draft at the source. Clear golden amber color, tan head with solid lacing. Aroma of caramel biscuit. Taste has caramel and butterscotch. Not bad.

This beer was definitely not a Scottish Ale, although my server insisted (nicely) that it was. I am guessing kegs got mixed up, or the brewboard was not up to date? In any case, this is my rating... Light bronze with a decent head. Nice grain and hop nose with some PNW hops, citrusy, and a touch of bubblegum. If anything, this is closer to a copper ale or IPA.

Draft. Dark brown with a no head and no scent. Yes it is flat? Caramel taste. Boo-hiss

On tap at the Terminal Brewhouse. Pours dark brown with a minimal head. The aroma is caramel and light coffee with notes of figs and spices. The flavor is very sweet with just a hint of bitterness. The palate is heavy and sticky. Overall, a nice beer. Tasty and interesting.

Draft at the pub. darkish brown with a little creamy ring that lasts. Faint nose of earthy caramel. Flavor is caramel and light cocoa on the front, with a hint of earthiness to just dry the finish. Near-medium body is smooth and just to the sweet side.
