Bottle... Poured deep, dark brown with a thick forming, khaki head. Nice retention. Nose was mild, just doughy, bready, toasted malts. This came through on the palate too with a hint of roast. Light, fizzy, and almost dry with the mouthfeel. With a British-inspired ale ester component in the finish.

Draught @ Brouwer’s Cafe:   Must be the bottom of the keg, pours like chocolate milk... no joke.   Super thick and dirty brown, large frothy light beige head, nice lacing.   Pale roasty nose, a bit of cocoa or chocolate.   Similar tongue, sweet cocoa roastiness, not too big or robust, body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Clean finish, soft roasted malts and cocoa.   Very straight forward, nothing out of the ordinary, perhaps a bit more cocoa and chocolate versus others.   Good, albeit a little scary with the look of this chocolate milk!   Breakfast is right!

Dark brown beer with a gorgeous ,thick, frothy cream coloured head.
Coffee, and chocolate aromas..not particularly dark versions of either but nice
Taste is the same..with the addition of a bit of fig and some ash..pleasant again the descriptor.
Nice palate to this one..smooth and silky not rough
Overall nice trad style porter
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Alphadelic (1630) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 18, 2012
A very light porter, a muddy brown. Tinny wheat aroma with some deeper roast and a tingle of dusty hop. Good body, slick mouthfeel. Robust and creamy with hints of chocolate and vanilla mixed with a robust malt and bitterness.

Pours really light for a porter, finger of off white head. Smell gushing with coffee, roast, caramel. Taste is sweet, tea? Interesting. More of a brown or amber ale though.

Fuck Slayer "Antichrist" is a fucking god damn amazing song. Show No Mercy is such a fucking great fucking album. Great riffs, awesome solos. Best Slayer album? Shit it might be my favorite. Anyways, back to the beer. Nose of coffee, brown bread, a little roast, a little chocolate, and a dose of earthy hops. Pours murky brown with a nice bubbly creamy off white tan head. The flavor is nice and roasty, surprisingly hoppy with a good amount of coffee. Lightly acidic from the coffe. Nice dry drinker. A hint of brown bread in there as well as very light sweetness. Almost like a hoppy brown ale/black ipa hybrid with coffee. Interesting. I like it.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Cybercat (2477) - Georgia, USA - JUL 4, 2011
Comes out of the tap a barely translucent reddish chocolate brown with a nice yellow-beige head that leaves some good lacing. Aroma is smoky and chocolaty and has an undertone of coffee as well as a nutty hint. Smoky flavor has firm chocolate and coffee tones with nutty and toffee hints. Smooth, pleasing texture is fairly fizzy. Look for this one!

Dark brown beer with ruddy highlights. Dark roast coffee and pure chocolate, lingering toffee, toasted walnuts. Moderate bitterness and some leafy hop flavor. Tasty.
