dwaggs2 (531), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA Oct 15, 2009 Bottle. Pours a golden color with a little white head. Aroma was corn, grains, and malts. Flavor was metallic, yeast, and some hops. Thin to medium body. Decent beer. Birdiebeagle (777), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 22, 2009 Bottle from Scrizz, thanks, buddy. Pours a hazy golden with a thin white head. The head leaves quickly. Produces spotty lacing at best. Aroma is lightly spiced, fruit, and grain. Has a light carbonation. The flavor is malty with a dullness to it. Not awful but not great. Has a thicker than water texture. A light to medium body. The finish is okay and the aftertaste is lacking. This isn’t bad it is just very average. coyotehunter (542), , Michigan, USA Sep 8, 2009 Bottle thanks to Scrizz! Pours a golden yellow with a marginal head. Smell is mostly grain, some citrus and and maybe some corn. Taste is reasonable...aforementioned notes with a light malt and some sugar and a hint of spice. Finish is a bit smooth and not real bitey. Ok beer. gracefullypunk (272), Washington, USA Aug 24, 2009 Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold with a thin creamy off white head. Faint aroma of pepper, citrus and sugar. Taste is citrus, caramel and pepper, but not enough of a bitter finish for a supposed bitter. carruthm (1109), Seattle, Washington, USA Aug 21, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear light gold color with a thin head covering. Aroma is cider-y with some faint bitter hops and some spiced alcohol. Taste is a letdown, sort of a flat, cider bitter. robforbes (1083), Bremerton, Washington, USA Aug 2, 2009 pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head, and good lacing.
smell of some citrus, some grain, and some wheat.
taste is nutty, some citrus, some pepper, and some caramel, ends oily with just a tad bit of bitterness. Beardface (977), Eugene, Oregon, USA Jul 22, 2009 12 oz bottle from Market of Choice. Pours out a clear, light yellow with almost no head. Aroma is light citrus and some grainy notes. Flavor has citrus, pepper, grain. A little bitter but not much, more in the British way of calling a beer "bitter". Thin mouth, fairly refreshing. riversideAK (2648), Shoreline, Washington, USA Jul 17, 2009 Lightly fruity hop aroma citrus, orange, and some softer apricot maybe. Light sweetness. Pours hazy golden yellow. Light malty sweetness up front and a soft fruity bitterness in the finish. Easy to drink, not interesting. Nothing really wrong with it either.
