The head leaves quickly. Produces spotty lacing at best. Aroma is lightly spiced, fruit, and grain. Has a light carbonation. The flavor is malty with a dullness to it. Not awful but not great. Has a thicker than water texture. A light to medium body. The finish is okay and the aftertaste is lacking. This isn’t bad it is just very average. ontario102 (794), Boise, Idaho, USA

Taste is slightly bitter grapefruit with a rich malt side as well. The bitterness is somewhat astringent and lingers a long time. Excellent ESB, I must have more! dwaggs2 (568), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA
