COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Terminal Gravity ESG is an American Golden Ale. Light and refreshing but also complex, with a crispness from flaked rye and a hint of peat smoke. Subtle hops from the Rhine and Yakima river valleys do not overwhelm.

12 ounce bottle from Hayduke. This is cloudy golden with a nice off white head. The first thing I smell is pepper but it is light in the flavor. I taste grain and soft yeast. Mild bitterness tells me there some hops to be found. There is a sourness underneath. Mid glass I begin to taste more pepper and it is what could be found in a farmhouse style and it could pass for a saison. This is unique and somewhat intetesting.

Pours a thin head on a cloudy straw colored body. The aroma is grain and honey. The taste is mild all-around: grain and bitter. Good balance. The texture is smooth with low carbonation. Nice.

Not very bitter for an ESB. Hazy golden body with creamy head. Malty nose with a touch of citrus. Malt again in the taste, mouthfeel slick and oily. Closer to a golden ale....

Bottled: unk Pours golden with a solid quilt of white foam. Smells of grain, corn and hints of lemon zest with a bit of hay. A bit astringent and even sharp initially with some bitterness and acidity. There’s plenty of corn flavors and some nice hay like flavors. Medium bodied with light carb for they style. It’s an interesting beer, not what I was expecting and could use plenty of adjustments from my standpoint - but I also don’t know how old this bottle is... Serving type: bottle 06-17-2012

My favorite every day brew! Crisp, golden color with a mild aroma and just the right amount of hops.

On tap at Portland pod restaurant. Nice golden body with medium head. Nose is of hops, citrus and spices. Taste is also hoppy with some spices and a bitter finish. Enjoyable.

355ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a finger of white head that settles to leave a few spots of lacing. Aroma is citrus and grass with some cereal grains. Taste is a bold grassy and citrus hop bitterness with a peppery note and a light underlying malty sweetness. Light to medium body with adequate carbonation. A very flavorful ESB that is highly recommended.

Out of the bottle from Uptown. Pours a slightly cloudy, golden color with minimal head. Smell is slightly sour. The taste is crisp and refreshing.

Almost no aroma to be found, and what you do smell doesn’t offer up any information. Taste is very hoppy. Good, I guess you cool kids would call this a "session" beer.
