Bright golden color with little to no foam. The flavor is light and sweet. Nothing too exciting.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours a rather hazy copperish color with a small white head on there. Nose is very earthy and a little bit doughy, like something was sitting outside for a while in the rain. Taste actually is a bit smokey on top of the earthiness. Does not come across well.

On tap @ Murphy's. Good light hoppy aroma, nice balance of malty aroma. Very light head, small bubbles. Head didn't last long. Cloudy Orange color. Great malty flavor with a round pallet. Light flavor nice drinking beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a thin head on a cloudy straw colored body.
The aroma is grain and honey.
The taste is mild all-around: grain and bitter. Good balance.
The texture is smooth with low carbonation.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not very bitter for an ESB. Hazy golden body with creamy head. Malty nose with a touch of citrus. Malt again in the taste, mouthfeel slick and oily. Closer to a golden ale....

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours golden with a solid quilt of white foam. Smells of grain, corn and hints of lemon zest with a bit of hay. A bit astringent and even sharp initially with some bitterness and acidity. There’s plenty of corn flavors and some nice hay like flavors. Medium bodied with light carb for they style. It’s an interesting beer, not what I was expecting and could use plenty of adjustments from my standpoint - but I also don’t know how old this bottle is...

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle from Hayduke. This is cloudy golden with a nice off white head. The first thing I smell is pepper but it is light in the flavor. I taste grain and soft yeast. Mild bitterness tells me there some hops to be found. There is a sourness underneath. Mid glass I begin to taste more pepper and it is what could be found in a farmhouse style and it could pass for a saison. This is unique and somewhat intetesting.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
355ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a finger of white head that settles to leave a few spots of lacing. Aroma is citrus and grass with some cereal grains. Taste is a bold grassy and citrus hop bitterness with a peppery note and a light underlying malty sweetness. Light to medium body with adequate carbonation. A very flavorful ESB that is highly recommended.
