Mmmm...this amber American Winter Warmer is darn tasty....sweet with a softly hoppy nose and body. really easy to drink so I had another pint. Very nice and I liked it a lot. Nicely caramel with the hops keeping the malt from going overboard. Doesn’t coat the mouth so it’s tasty in that good way without being smackingly overwhelming.

Tap at The Front Door: Yaaaayyy! I get to be the 10th rater! This one is a beauty! Murky brown pnd water in color with a tan fluffy head. It sports a juniper hop aroma as well in taste. The aftertaste is sweet, but balanced. I liked it alot!

Smells strongly of pine and citrus with a note of caramel. Pours medium amber with a thin white head. Taste is strongly citrus with pine notes and caramel comes in at the end almost becoming the predominant flavor in the aftertaste. Very nice.

Tap at Concordia Ale House. Hazy brown in color with a modest off-white head and minimal lacing. Pleasant aroma mixes a dark fruit tone with citrus from the hops I presume. Medium bodied with a lower carbonation level. Pit fruit, raisin and modest alcohol in flavor with a nice hop bitterness towards the finish.

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2013 Rose 7 Raindrop in Portland. Cloudy dark red/brown color with a dark tan head. Very strong and solid nose of woody plums, all sorts of alcohol, plums, dark fruit and wood with a very noticable cascade hop note. Strong flavor initially, seems high alcohol... wood, scotch, strong and thick texture, dry and scratchy near the finish... this is a great winter ale.
