Commercial Description:
Pale copper in color, but big in body and flavor with a heady hop character. The IPA uses spring water and snow melt from high in the Eagle Cap Wilderness. Terminal Gravity used over 50% Marris Otter pale ale malt imported from the British Isles for a traditional British flavor. It adds several other malts from the Northwest and Europe. TG IPA has over 2 pounds of hops per barrel, finishing with British Fuggles for that classic aroma.

Bottle from SS. Muggy, metallic hop aroma. Kind of like a copper mine or something... earthy but sharp. Similar flavor. Really really rough on the palate, I’m having a hella difficult time finishing this bottle. Not my favorite.

12 oz bottle shared with fordest. Some pine flavors with a little bit of sweetness. A nice Ipa.

12 oz bottle thanks to the sister-in-law. Lots of head on this clear golden copper brew. Aromas were sweet citrus hops. Flavors very similar grassiness as the beer warmed. Pretty good.

Draft at The Bistro’s IPA Fest; Nose of light citrus hops; Lightly hazed dark gold with a large glass-lacing offwhite head; flavor of light hop bitterness and caramel. Well balanced.

Smells sour and fragrant. Color is a nice hazy amber. Flavor is a very nosy hops, a little citrus. Very refreshing.

5 ounce sample tasted at Bistro’s IPA Festival. Piney hop aroma with some mild resiny/hempy notes present. Moderately aromatic with a light spiciness. Mildly hazy honey-colored body with a small off-yellow head. Wow, very grainy and very resiny. Some weird fruity esters also seem to make an appearance through a cloud of nutty flavors in the middle. Finishes bitter and grainy. Kind of odd.

Pours an orange/amber color. Cloudy. Thin head, doesn’t last. I can tell this uses British malts. Fairly bitter, quite a bit of malt in the flavor tho. Carbonation is medium, decent mouthfeel. Isn’t bad, isn’t great. Kinda reminds me of a few of my early batches of extract homebrew
