Commercial Description:
Pale copper in color, but big in body and flavor with a heady hop character. The IPA uses spring water and snow melt from high in the Eagle Cap Wilderness. Terminal Gravity used over 50% Marris Otter pale ale malt imported from the British Isles for a traditional British flavor. It adds several other malts from the Northwest and Europe. TG IPA has over 2 pounds of hops per barrel, finishing with British Fuggles for that classic aroma.

On tap at Rose/Raindrop, Portland, OR Never disappoints. It’s nice and hazy copper wiht a creamy white, persistent head. Just the right blend of hops. Easy drinking. This is the IPA to drink when you want a few of them on hot summer’s day.

Bottled (thanks kenb!). Cloudy golden/orange/nutbrown mix with a creamy white mediumsized head. Aroma is strong flowery hops with hints of caramel. Flavour is flowery and fruity hops with some caramel mixed in. Finish and aftertaste is mainly flowery hops and some freshly cut grass. Pleasant one.

12 oz bottle courtesy of Ken. Pours a cloudy golden orange color with a medium white head. Aroma of next day mowed grass, mildew and dusty hops. Taste is very faint citrus and old hops. Slight floral detection as well. Average at best.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Hazy, amber golden with a creamy, off-white head. Fat, grapefruitish citrus aroma. Medium body with light caramel notes and then again this distinct citrus hoppiness in the finish. Lovely. Courtesy of JCapriotti. 151206

Cloudy orange brown color out of the bottle with an odd nose that moved from cooked vegatables and canned peas to coffee beans. Flavors of pine, grass, lemon rind, alcohol, raw coffee bean, something herbal, and it is very dry. It has that raw green hop-ness to it that I don’t prefer, but it does have a lot of it.

Maybe the fact that I’ve not had ANY IPA’s since I moved to Mississippi is clouding my judgement, but this I like. An amped up version of a British IPA. I love the flavor and aroma of Fuggles, and this really hits in the body of the brew. Well balanced and pleasingly bittered, just well made.

A very nice IPA. Cloudy dark golden color, small white head. Smells of hops that tickle the nose and finishes with some sweet malt. Full body, complex hop profile. This is a nice beer.
