3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Imazato shared by Taro. Terminal gravity IPA - a lovely copper color with a pine needle hop aroma. Soft bodied. The taste is woodsy earthy pine and a bit floral. A very solidly balanced old school IPA.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Phenomenal. Pours beautiful golden auburn, more on the dark side of that visual mix. Great blend of hops. Some malt, nut, a bit of spiciness. Has almost a slight porter feel to it, but thereís a pleasant lightness. Just amazing in the blend. Goes down so easy, I could roll through several of these. Definitely a top IPA experience.

"Iím gonna have to side with Travis on this one. Probably not the freshest of bottles, but since they didnít date it, they can take the blame. Kinda stale, overall boring ass ipa. More malt driven with lightly fruity and tropical hops, but substandard. Didnít even finish a 12. This was a shot in the dar, and it missed the mark."

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours out a darkish amber, small foamy head, hops dominate, burying any malt characteristics. Biggest drawback for me was a dull metallic finish, and the flat hops bitterness obliterating any other flavors.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Lee fridge. Pours a copper orange with one finger head. Mild hops in nose; more of a British bitter vs 'regular' IPA- same in initial taste and palate. Good to very good.

Tap. Pint in hermiston Oregon. Hazy copper with some head. Hoppy but sugary, dry but has a unique hop flavor. Maltiness throughout. Decent.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
A: amber and hazy with a finger of light yellow suds. These leave behind a cobweb of lace to a sheet of the same.
S: biscuity malts with a overlay of subtle tropical fruits almost reminds me of pineapple gummi bears. Again, subtle.
T: Bitter with malts. The hops are bitter, but do not offer a substantial amount of flavors beyond this. Standard hints of resin and citrus (grapefruit)
M: Medium bodied (on heavy) with moderately hi carb. A bit much for the style.
O: This beer is quite nice on tap, I fear this is a case of an old bottle, too bad I canít be sure...

Clear copper pour with medium white head, nice lacing down the glass. Scent is both piney and grapefruity hops and bready malts.. Nice biscuty bready malt up front with great hop flavor in the back. Body is a little sticky with a bitter finish. One of the best IPAís Ive had.
