Apr 3, 2005 Radekfest 05 Bottle. Golden amber, small fluffy white head. Some mild floaties but I got the end of the bottle. Piney resiny hops in the aroma. Fairly nice flavour with plent of hopes, some nice resin and a lingering bitterness. Average palate. I think a full bottle would have made more of an impression though. Nice beer.

Mar 27, 2005 Copper color, with a frothy head with lots of lace. Crisp and bitter but not overly so, piney, grapefruity. I love this IPA

Mar 25, 2005 Hazy, deep, dark orange appearance, slim layer of foam.
Fiercely citric aroma, big-time grapefruit and pine...wicked bitterness, very sharp, prickly and potent.
meets the mouth warmly and smooth, starts big, then quickly pales, leaving little sticky traces on the palate.
Taste is nice, creamy and fruity, but it begs to be more than it is. Medium-bodied, with a slightly bitter finish.
I can like it, but still find this IPA a bit odd , and lacking some important pleasure.

Mar 23, 2005 Dark orange gold color. Medium sized white chunky head. Major lacing on this one. Aroma is fruity and sweet, touch of woodiness and hops. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are floral and earthy with a touch of bitterness. Medium bitter IPA. Lots of flavor, Nice Pacific Northwest style IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Mar 14, 2005 Pours a hazy light copper bronze with a thick, frothy off-white head with lots of lace. Aroma is musty, earthy hops with a touch of pine, resin, and crystal malt. Starts, with a nice, dry, caramel bittersweet maltiness turning more piney hoppy toward a grapefruity hoppy, bitter finish. Very well balanced, fresh, and crisp. A great IPA, thanks Larry Pitonka!

Mar 4, 2005 Bright copper-orange body topped by a creamy off-white head. The aroma is distinct, very flowery (Fuggles?). The aroma continues and is sweet like some exotic fruit I can’t put my finger on. The flavor is a huge burst of floral and light citrus. The malts are perfectly matched. Slightly sticky, light caramel. Yum. Man this is good. Light biscuit on the finsih. Medium body bitter dry finish. This is the perfect British IPA as done by a PNW brewer. All I can say is WOW and I wish I had ordered more!

Feb 27, 2005 This is a classic example of an IPA: fragrant, crisp, slightly sweet, and just a tad bitter. A nice, refreshing beer that I would love to have again.

Feb 20, 2005 A hazy orange beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is of hops and caramel. The flavor is dry and very hoppy with notes of grass and alfa-acid. The end is lovely bitter.
