Terminal Gravity IPA is a copper to honey colored ale with a rich malt character and a clean bitter hop finish. This full bodied beer uses malts from Scotland, Belgium and the Pacific Northwest to achieve a slightly nutty lightly toasted taste. Yeast esters provide hints of stone fruits like apricot and peach, while hops from Yakima and Eastern Europe provide grapefruit and spicy notes.

Clear copper pour with medium off white head. Nose is resiny hops and bready malts.. The hoppy front gives in to malty middle for a well-rounded IPA. Body is a little sticky with a bitter finish. Nice hybrid of British and American IPA characteristics.

Bottle. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy hop and English malt aroma. Medium to abundant body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

Draught. Pours a mostly clear amber color with a moderate off-white head on it. Nose was decently hoppy and a little bitter, but without much of the specific aromas of the hop varietals. Taste was bitter, but without much character. OK drink, but nothing special.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A light fruity and malty nose. Mellow, some caramel, sweetness, light fruity hops, cardboard. Decent. I might be detecting some signs of infection, slight for sure in this bottle. Low hop character.

Light copper, clear, off-white head. Aroma of grainy malt with a little caramel, a slight buttery note, fairly subdued hop aroma. Flavor is malt-balanced with some caramel sweetness. Hop character is subdued for an IPA. Wide range of ratings for this beer, this may not be the best batch. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Your standard good ipa with grassy citrus hops and nice mild bitterness. A touch of sweet balances it all. Nice.
