COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pale copper in color, but big in body and flavor with a heady hop character. The IPA uses spring water and snow melt from high in the Eagle Cap Wilderness. Terminal Gravity used over 50% Marris Otter pale ale malt imported from the British Isles for a traditional British flavor. It adds several other malts from the Northwest and Europe. TG IPA has over 2 pounds of hops per barrel, finishing with British Fuggles for that classic aroma.

Aroma of piney hops and malts... Flavor is shockingly malty for a west coast ipa, caramel malts with notes of citrus and pine hops... Very similar to an east coast ipa... Decent

Cloudy copper pour, pretty thick. Thing off white head, not much lacing on the side of the glass. Good hoppy and spicy aroma. Bitter, grassy, hoppy, and spicy taste. Awesome beer.

A strong and persistent bitterness from this Eastern Oregon IPA. Earthy at first then some tree notes. Portland trip 2012.

A very commanding hoppy presence. Typical IPA flavor. Kind of cool that they imported hops from Britain.

Tap at Wilf’s Bar & Restaurant (by Amtrak), Portland 08/11/12. Mid amber with a thin off white head. Nose comprises light caramel malt tones, hops, some vegetal notes, a little citrus. Tastes of bitter tropical fruits, caramel malt, touch of grapefruit, more maltiness, mineral tones. Medium bodied with soft carbonation with a bitter hoppy finish. Drinkable but not my kind of IPA - too malty.

Muddy orange-amber with good, creamy, white head / Rich, malty, musty nose of citrus, caramel, and pine / Medium to full body, chewy and malty, moderate sweet and biting, nicely mellow though although drinking late November, with good bitter finish / Rich, thick flavors of orange, grapefruit, soap, chocolate, pine, and caramel, / Has the character, although not the abv, of a double, and especially enjoyed its mellow nature which I don’t know if has always been there or is because I am drinking in late November.

Pours hazy orange with light frothy head. Smells og straight pine. I can tell this is going to highlight bitter hops. Flavor is an explosion of pine cones and some grapefruit. Medium mouthfeel, with a strong bite on the finish. Good IPA for those who like hop-forward brews. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
