| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 18, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy copper, small head. Big hoppy citrus nose. Flavor is mainly grapefruit and pine notes. Meduim mouthfeel and carbonation. Long bitter bite that lingers on and on. Very easy to drink and a great representation of a PNW IPA. fakepurseninja (777), Washington, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jul 15, 2008 Very rich and creamy ipa. Mild sweetness with a strong, earthy, almost nutty, component. Grapefruit citrus evident with a touch of mellow pine and a great roasted malt profile. Very well balanced and very enjoyable. bitbucket (2031), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 6, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear golden orange with a lacy white ring of foam. Aroma is primarily grapefruit, but there is some pine and toffee in there as well. Medium-light body and medium carbonation. The taste is what my nose led me to predict. Dry grapefruit pith and pine finish with lingering bitterness. BOLTZ7555 (1080), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 13, 2008 Eh...not saying this is a bad beer...just not a great one. Aroma is a bit weak although displaying both pine and citrus. Nectarine in color with an eggshell head. Flavor is a little rough...not as smooth as the best-in-class. Grapefruit, lemon zest, resin and a touch of honey sounds good but tastes average. MrBeerFanatic (356), jamestown, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 4, 2008 Poured a cloudy dark amber having a small white head. Has a pleasent aroma of fruity hops but not strong. The flavor has that upfront hoppy character that all hopheads love, having a somewhat strong hoppyness with hints of grapefruit then ending on a semi-dry bitterness. This is a pretty solid IPA. Very refreshing and tasty. riversideAK (2685), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 4, 2008 Bottle from Belmont Station. Pours hazy amber. The aroma has hints of grapefruit and softer citrus as well as quite a bit of noticeable pale malt. Flavors of medium citrus bitterness, grapefruit, orange, lemon with lots of pale malts lending a bread/toast aspect to this one that is pretty strong. More hops in the finish. Grapefruit and citrus are pretty predominant. Pretty simple and straightforward, but a nice Northwest IPA that I would not hesitate to drink again. Seemingly more hoppy than many in this area.
