Commercial Description:
Pale copper in color, but big in body and flavor with a heady hop character. The IPA uses spring water and snow melt from high in the Eagle Cap Wilderness. Terminal Gravity used over 50% Marris Otter pale ale malt imported from the British Isles for a traditional British flavor. It adds several other malts from the Northwest and Europe. TG IPA has over 2 pounds of hops per barrel, finishing with British Fuggles for that classic aroma.

draft @ horse brass pub - been wanting to try this for a long while and it didn’t disappoint; cloudy orange with thin head; thick aroma mix of hops and malts; drinks creamy with no bitterness; tasty malt profile to go with the standard strong hops

the aroma is hops, grapefruit and a little beyond, slight whiff of caramel. Yeah, it pours a little cloud, on draft, but still looks good, perky white head. crisp hop bits, with some conflict tween the citrus and pine hops, a deliberate wildness.

Thanks BrewDad. Nice fluffy white head. Great citrus aroma, mostly tangerine and grapefruit. Hazy pour, possible from the chill. Nice sharp hops bite in the initial taste. Caramel and toffee malt taste. Great IPA. Very different from what we find here on the east coast.

Pours a cloudy muddy amber colour with lacing and decent head. Smells of hops, spice, citrus and fruity. Tastes very different for an IPA. Lots of malt, mild hops that still show up and some sweet fruit. Dry and a little bitter. Drinkability is ok, a little thick. Worth a try, a serviceable IPA

Poured a hazy golden-orange-amber with a thin white head. Nose of fruity hops and bready malts. Slightly yeast and grainy wiht a nice robust mouth feel and flavor. Living in Oregon, this is a standard IPA. Quite unique, but always good. Yum!

Pours brown and hazy, barley forming an off whitish head of foam. Aroma of halts, fruity hops, and some yeast. Flavour is hops with a strong malty ending. Reminds me of a English IPA, which is no comparison of an American IPA style beer. Sorta let down, I love my American IPA’s, sorry lads, English style IPA is not what I call full of character. I mean its not bad, but I wish it made that American hop bite in the end. Not bad guys, but not an American IPA in the true sence.

12oz bottle: pours a murky brown with a pretty good size head. its an IPA but i feel it lacks the kick from the hops as far as flavor goes but a very good tasting beer. just after i wrote that i did a little math with the fact that they say over 2lbs of hops per bbl for those home brewers thats just over 5oz of hops per 5 gallons so not a very hoppy IPA but overall pretty good taste should be called a pale ale though.

Mildly fruity aroma, with very fruity hops on the taste. I got this on tap at Tryon Creek Sports Pub in Portland, after a strong recommendation from the bartender. Delicious!
