Commercial Description:
Pale copper in color, but big in body and flavor with a heady hop character. The IPA uses spring water and snow melt from high in the Eagle Cap Wilderness. Terminal Gravity used over 50% Marris Otter pale ale malt imported from the British Isles for a traditional British flavor. It adds several other malts from the Northwest and Europe. TG IPA has over 2 pounds of hops per barrel, finishing with British Fuggles for that classic aroma.

Hazy caramel in color with a small tan head. Blindsided by the intense honey aroma. Citric and pine hops as well. My curiosity is definitly peaked. Thick, smooth body. Flavor is heavy on the caramel malts. Nice pine hops presence, some earth tones and very mild citrus. Bitter on the tongue, but that is overpowered by the malts. Though I liked this beer, the flavor is all over the map. I wish it was blended better as the malts and hops don’t seem to come together in any sort of harmony. Dissapointed? No. I may have to give this a second go before I really know where I stand with this IPA.

Pours a hazy pumpkin color with specks and flecks of solids milling about in suspension. Fluffy off-white head loses its staying power and falls to a milky cap. Laces in wet sloppy design. Rough and tumble aromas of sticky icky and pine. Tangerine flavor immediately yields to murky bong water and pine. Prickly and corrosive feel. Rough.

Bottle Pours a hazy light amber color with a medium off-white head. Aroma of hops and caramel. Taste is hoppy with a bit of malt sweetness in the background. Has a dry lightly bitter finish.

Orangey in a number of respects, maybe even something milder and less acidic . . . tangerines maybe. Gives it a softer character, a rounding of the edges. Maybe not quite Fuggles, but at least very similar in mellowness. Fabulously drinkable session-appropriate IPA.

On the darker side of the IPA spectrum. Quite low on carbonation and head retention. Has a very salty flavor. Probably the saltiest-tasting beer I’ve ever had. It’s ok, but nothing really stands out for me. Plenty of hops, but what I’m really getting is salt.

Bottle. Pours cloudy orange with small ecrue head. The aroma is pineapple, mandarin orange, toast, cookies, and hemp. The flavor is toast and mild citrus. It’s not all that bitter, but has quite a bit of hoppy flavor. The finish has a strange dark spiciness to it, I guess from throwing Fuggles in with all that Pac NW stuff. Decent.

bottle courtesy of SamuraiArtist...i was worried about this one when i pulled it out of the box. the label looks like an energy drink!!...cloudy golden brown color with a soft head. aroma is full of skunk...piney/grassy hops. sweet malts , caramel and earthiness balance out the array of hops. creamy mouth feel and a light bitter finish...

Draft. Amber beer with a cream-colored head. Grapefruit and pine aroma. Nice grapefruit/pine/caramel flavor. Medium body. Easy drinking. Lingering grapefruit.
