Well, this is THE best IPA I’ve ever tasted. Not one sour note that I can mention so....I’m giving it a perfect 5. chronictonic (402), Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania, USA

A VERY strong grapefruit like hop aroma - you can smell it from arms length. Surprisingly, a perfectly balanced hop flavor - very biased towards the bitter citrusy side of hoppiness. Hop flavors are nicely balanced out with a nice malt toastiness. Hands down the best IPA of our beer trip to Oregon and Northern CA. (followed by the Lost Coast Indica IPA). May be on my top 5 list of best beers I've ever tried.

I’ve tried well over 100 IPAs from across the U.S. and to my opinion, TG IPA is tops, though Lagunitas Maximus IPA rateas a solid second.
TG’s IPA is a tantalizing copper, orange whose murkiness entices the drinker as bieing a crsip hop-fest in waiting. THe combination of malts make this IPS smooth, after the hard hop hit, finishing clean but full. dwyerpg (2529), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

A good strong caramel hop flavor, with a nice hop finish, but none of the hops are the bittering killers, so it has a quite nice flavor. CaptAnkeny (14), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

It’ll be there again this year in ’08, so looking forward to sampling this very hoppy IPA again soon. Very impressed with the taste, a bit grapefruity, definitely bitter and again very HOPPY.
If in Oregon, a must-try brew.
Loved it so much, got the tee-shirt while in Portland. My favorite tee! doubleipa (224), Georgia, USA

It had a hazy color with a bit of a head. Very strong grapefruit aroma - Yum. This is really a great example of what I’ve come to expect with respect to NW IPA’s. mikebeertaster (96), vancouver, Washington, USA

Huge hops that are totally in harmony with the beer. Great tasting beer, that stands out in a world of hoppy Pacific NW beers.
