COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A blond summer ale whose name refers to the use of elderflowers in its production - the flowers are always planted in little terracotta pots. Although, it could also refer to our infamous concert hall in Bruges: the terracotta roof tiles are always falling off that... The beer has a fruity blossomy fragrance and a slightly acidic cider-like component to the taste.

Bottled. Cloudy yellow golden color, short white head. Aroma of wheat, flowers, bit earthy. Slight sour taste, bit sweet. Not that bad actually.

Bottled. Clear golden coloured, small dying head. Very spice nose, interesting. Very soapy flavour, lots of spices again, way off balance. Totally not my thing. And i’m a bit disappointed by those Smisje brews lately...

Bottle. Cloudy golden with some sediment and a small head. Potent tart fruity with hints of spices. Fruity flavours balanced by spices. Quite lively. Well-made and interesting as always from this brewery.

The color is hazy yellow with some clarity but cannot see through the beer. Aroma has a lot of the Regenboog yeast dominance (brine-y fruit is really the best way I can describe it). Taste is similar but the strong carbonation seems to subdue the yeast flavors a little bit. Its very refreshing with light lemon and a seltzer-strong carbonation. This beer goes in a very different direction than most of the Regenboog beers, just tries to be light and refreshing. With the yeasty part the brine goes away and it becomes a lemon-fruit-yeast bomb.
33cl bottle, no date, from Bier Temple, in a De Neve tumbler.

Bottled. Aroma is citric, yeasty and a little cheesy. Hazy, yellow coloured with a lasting, medium, white head. Taste is sweet, bit sour. It has yeast and citrus mostly. Medium bodied. Nice, refreshing beer. Excellent when rating beers.
