thewolf (3392), Kolding, Denmark May 14, 2008 Bottle, bought @ Tønden, Haslev.
Pours hazy yellow with nearly no head - only a small island on the liquid - disappearing quickly. Aroma is lightly fruity citric, lots of elderflowers and oranges. Rather high carbonation, rather fresh feel. Flavour is lightly tart, quite flowery, citric gueuze-ness as well. Weird and fresh.
thebeertourist (1694), Oslo, Norway Jul 1, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy golden with some sediment and a small head. Potent tart fruity with hints of spices. Fruity flavours balanced by spices. Quite lively. Well-made and interesting as always from this brewery. beastiefan2k (1065), Hicksville, New York, USA Jun 4, 2008 The color is hazy yellow with some clarity but cannot see through the beer. Aroma has a lot of the Regenboog yeast dominance (brine-y fruit is really the best way I can describe it). Taste is similar but the strong carbonation seems to subdue the yeast flavors a little bit. Its very refreshing with light lemon and a seltzer-strong carbonation. This beer goes in a very different direction than most of the Regenboog beers, just tries to be light and refreshing. With the yeasty part the brine goes away and it becomes a lemon-fruit-yeast bomb. 33cl bottle, no date, from Bier Temple, in a De Neve tumbler. skortila (2359), Bunnik, Netherlands May 30, 2008 Bottled. Aroma is citric, yeasty and a little cheesy. Hazy, yellow coloured with a lasting, medium, white head. Taste is sweet, bit sour. It has yeast and citrus mostly. Medium bodied. Nice, refreshing beer. Excellent when rating beers. MiP (4805), Flensburg, Germany Apr 13, 2008 Bottle, ZBF08. Refreshing aroma, slightly acidic. Clear golden colour, small white head. The flavour is also acidic, like a mix of geuze and blond ale. Some yeast. Not bad.
