Sampled at an esbls tasting. Mhazy golden with a white head. This is peppery, Belgian, citrus. This is a nice beer that could be a big wit.

Really didn’t like this one. Lots of sweetness to this one that’s too pervasive throughout the entire drink. Not the worst thing I’ve had, but too spicy and sweet for me.

Bomber from a trade but I forgot who sent it. Pours golden amber with a white head. Aromas of orange, candied sugar, sweet malts, and some spices. Flavor of orange, candied sugar, caramel malts, and some belgain spices. Solid.

I cannot give this a remotely good score in good conscience. I don’t think that pilsner malts, nelson sauvin hops, and coriander blend together particularly well, since this beer tastes like some abortive hybrid of a belgian strong ale, an ipa, and a saison I’m tempted to believe this initial analysis. As Bells 10K proved, more is often less in beer world.

Great. The nose is bready with notes of citrus and clove. The beer is a deep golden with a nicely shaped white head. Sweet with notes of clove and alcohol. Strong and medium full in body with a smooth hot finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a slightly hazed golden orange from the bottle with dissipating, frothy white head and good lacing. Aroma of corn malts, light belgian yeast, and odd spice. Taste is more of the belgian yeast than smell, and an odd mouth from the spice. Weird.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Light to moderate aromas all around, with grain and straw for the malt, perfume for ehe hops, farts and mustinees for the yeast, with hints of pear, pineapple, white wine and coriander in the background. Head is small, fizzy, white with no lacing and is fully diminishing. Color is sparkling clear gold, with a thick amout of small particles on the last pour. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly acidic to start, then finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is medium, oily with a lively carbonation. The aroma is a little blunt up front, but it mellows and the flavor is complex, if a bit confused. Still a very drinkable Belgian Strong Ale.

Savannah, Ga - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - 22 oz bomber. Pours a medium golden with a thin but pillowy whote head that leaves a thin coat of lacing. Aroma is enticing with some floral notes, some hints of orange, a touch of sweet spices. Flavor is rich with a sweet underpinning of orange, some nutty like sweetness, an odd hint of chocolate and vanilla and a buttery back end. Mouthfeel is thick and sticky. Happy 10 years Terrapin - well done!
