22 oz. bottle from Bruisin’ Ales in Asheville, NC. Light pale yellow pour (although it appears dark orange in the glass) with a thin off-white head. Aroma of light citrus and floral hops, light Belgian yeast, and light banana. Somewhat sweet flavor of bubblegum and candi sugar with light notes of lemon and orange peel and coriander. Finishes sweet but not too cloying. A good Belgian-style ale.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 coolpop (1163) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - JUN 9, 2012
Draft sampled at Magic City Brewfest. Aroma and flavor were banana, a floral spiciness (apparently chamomile), mildly yeasty and bitter, fairly sweet, some citrus, lots of fruitiness. Long bittersweet finish. Thick, oily mouthfeel. Alcohol is well hidden. Well done.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Dogbrick (6021) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JUN 8, 2012
Sample at the Central OH BA Tasting at From The Vine on 06/02/2012: This brew is a hazed golden color with a medium white head that diminishes slowly. Partial rings of lace. Fruity and spicy aroma with some malt in the background. Medium to full body with notes of orange rinds, yeast, dark malt and spices. The finish is fruity with a grainy malt and yeast aftertaste. Above average all around.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 NachlamSie (2345) - Tennessee, USA - JUN 6, 2012
Bomber from Bruisin’. Pours a fizzy light gold with a bubbly head. Here we go with the ridiculously perfumy and spiced aroma. It’s a load of flowers, candy, clove, perfume. No subtlety whatsoever. I can handle overbearing hops, roasted malts, sourness, but the whole spice and fruit thing I can only take in reasonable amounts. The first sip of this is out of hand. It’s like drinking pure flowers and clove. It’s an overbearing yeast bomb with tons of chamomile punching me in the face. Terrapin excels at American styles. I really enjoy those.
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Cybercat (2451) - Georgia, USA - JUN 5, 2012
Strong, malty fruity aroma has a subtle undertone of yeast and a hint of - is that coriander? Yes, coriander! It pours a beautiful clear solar yellow with a thick, fluffy and rather persistent white head. Flavor bursts with malt, orange, apple and butterscotch with a bit of a hoppy undertone and hints of yeast and coriander. Smooth, firm texture has a decent amount of fizz and leaves a nice fruity finish that has hints of coriander and hops. Special indeed! BTW I’m drinking this while watching the transit of Venus on-line, for what that’s worth.

Draught at Capone’s: Aroma of chamomile, coriander, and Belgian yeast. Poured yellow in color with a small, creamy, dense, white head that diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer, as well as around the edges. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is slightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of light Belgian yeast, slight malt, chamomile, grain, barley, a hint of alcohol, a hint of hops, and a hint of fruit. Medium body. Slightly sticky, slightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, Belgian yeast, spice, coriander, chamomile, grain, banana, slight hop finish is dry. 10%ABV is completely hidden throughout.
