3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Hangover (980) - Atlanta, Alabama, USA - MAY 30, 2012
Cloudy orange pour with nice carbonation streamers and a thin white head. Aroma is musty with some coriander and orange. Nice mouthfeel with a peppery, spicy citrus flavor up front. Middle is a bit more yeasty with a bitter, almost tangy back end. Has enough body to support the alcohol and seems best suited to a long session of slow sipping. This is a pretty good brew!!

This is a Delicious beer. It looks great, it smells great, and it tastes great. I enjoyed the flavor a lot. You can pick up a vanilla and banana flavor to it. If you get a chance give this one a try.

Bottle
Appearance - Cloudy, golden, thin lacing
Aroma - Oranges, yeast, vanilla, spices
Taste - Dried pineapple, grapefruit, yeast, bread, light hops
This is another fine job by Terrapin. The nose greets you with what is an "authentic" Belgian aroma - lots of yeast, light fruits and spices that make for an enticing scent. The body follows as so, but with a very satisfying grapefruit finish that sweetens up, leaving the mouth sticky and full of yeast flavors. Wouldn’t guess the high abv, however, because it is very easy to drink. I’m sure aging would do fantastic things here. A big thanks to OmegaX for this brew!

Pours a hazy golden color. Smells rather barnyardy: some hay and funk on the nose. Medium-heavy body, somewhat bitter and more saison-ish flavor, spicy dry finish. Also finishes fairly hot, which makes sense considering the abv Pretty good overall, but nothing to write home about.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 AR (856) - Georgia, USA - MAY 25, 2012
Nice Belgian ale, this beer has a full body and a fairly clear appearance. The orange peel is evident in the flavor, along with muted coriander and a slight grassiness.

Somewhat random tasting note (tap at Proof): covers alcohol really well - spicy, peach, sugar, candied, orange, warm.

5/24/12. On tap. Golden/orange pour with a small khaki head. Slightly odd fruity aroma with floral aspects, spices, and more fruit. Sweet fruity flavor with brown sugar and spice. Reminds a bit of apple cinnamon but with flowers. Interesting.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JCB (3801) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - MAY 21, 2012
Bomber from Sam’s, Durham. Deep golden pour, bright and oily looking, almost halfway to a mead in appearance. That’s certainly appropriate, given how sweet this beer turned out to me. Spices and sugars in the nose, but the flavors suggested a witbier with chocolate and brioche additions, or perhaps just liquid apple pie.
