COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
“It is absolutly paradoxical; we cannot understand it, and we don’t know what it means. But we have proved it, and therefore we know it must be the truth.” -Benjamin Peirce That’s a little how we feel about the last 10 years and the phenominal growth we’ve enjoyed here at Terrapin. Join us in celebrating ten years of Terrapin with an Ale brewed with a Belgian yeast strain, Coriander, two kinds of orange peel and Chamomile. We chose to express this beautiful beer with what has been described as a beautiful equation… sip the beer while you ponder the math and our beautiful universe full of so much possibility! Draught at Capone’s: Aroma of chamomile, coriander, and Belgian yeast. Poured yellow in color with a small, creamy, dense, white head that diminished but lasted throughout as a film on top of the beer, as well as around the edges. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is slightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of light Belgian yeast, slight malt, chamomile, grain, barley, a hint of alcohol, a hint of hops, and a hint of fruit. Medium body. Slightly sticky, slightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, Belgian yeast, spice, coriander, chamomile, grain, banana, slight hop finish is dry. 10%ABV is completely hidden throughout.

Cloudy orange pour with nice carbonation streamers and a thin white head. Aroma is musty with some coriander and orange. Nice mouthfeel with a peppery, spicy citrus flavor up front. Middle is a bit more yeasty with a bitter, almost tangy back end. Has enough body to support the alcohol and seems best suited to a long session of slow sipping. This is a pretty good brew!!

This is a Delicious beer. It looks great, it smells great, and it tastes great. I enjoyed the flavor a lot. You can pick up a vanilla and banana flavor to it. If you get a chance give this one a try.

Bottle
Appearance - Cloudy, golden, thin lacing
Aroma - Oranges, yeast, vanilla, spices
Taste - Dried pineapple, grapefruit, yeast, bread, light hops

This is another fine job by Terrapin. The nose greets you with what is an "authentic" Belgian aroma - lots of yeast, light fruits and spices that make for an enticing scent. The body follows as so, but with a very satisfying grapefruit finish that sweetens up, leaving the mouth sticky and full of yeast flavors. Wouldn’t guess the high abv, however, because it is very easy to drink. I’m sure aging would do fantastic things here. A big thanks to OmegaX for this brew!

Pours a hazy golden color. Smells rather barnyardy: some hay and funk on the nose. Medium-heavy body, somewhat bitter and more saison-ish flavor, spicy dry finish. Also finishes fairly hot, which makes sense considering the abv Pretty good overall, but nothing to write home about.

Nice Belgian ale, this beer has a full body and a fairly clear appearance. The orange peel is evident in the flavor, along with muted coriander and a slight grassiness.
