4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
This stuff is GREAT. Aroma hops. Taste Hops. Finish Hops. Not quite a Double Dog but brought out the hop monster in me. Color was superior, body was nice and full. Try this beer.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle (2007). Caramel, grass, and little alcohol on the nose. More malt than hops on the nose as well. Amber and orange in color with tan head. Overall I liked it, but should be called big malty monster!

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Nice redish amber color. Poured a brownish white head with a great glaze. Smelled very fresh of grapefuit and hops. Rich malt, carmel, and hoppy taste. Full bodied and an all around great beer for me.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
My last one from beeruser.
A - Coppery red thatís pretty opaque. Reddish tinged head that fades quickly and doesnít leave any lacing.
S - Surprisingly strong malt presence. The citrus hops take a backseat to the caramel. A little piny but mostly sweet.
T - The front end is hoppy, piny, and floral. The caramel malt comes next. None of this is overstated. Very well balanced. Overall itís a lot more subtle than I expected from the name but still not bad.
M - Good carbonation. Medium body.
D - This one is drinkable for an imperial but as it warms the alcohol presents itself a bit more.

Bottle into pint glass. Bought this as a single because I needed one more to finish of a mixed six pack, and I thought the bottle was fun. WOW, am I glad I did! I really like this one. Pours cloudy mahogany color with about a one finger head. Aroma is nice, fruity, and I think a little caramel. Has a lot of hops that hit you, then you get the malts, and finishes with a great hoppy finish. Really great beer.

3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This one has strong smell right off the bat. Got it on tap and it continued to grown in flavor (not that it was ever lacking) as it warmed up a bit. Not much of a head on this beer at all, but a little lace left. Overall good beer, Iím sure Iíll drink it again sometime soon.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Fruity resiny hops, a full rich palate and long pleasant after taste. Donít know if it has changed since last year or if it is just different on Draft but I enjoyed this much more than I did last year.

Pours an excellent deep red that just drinks up the lights. Big foamy cream-colored head. Smells STRONG. Hoppy. Tastes bitter, with a slight burn to it. Feels really good in the mouth; not too thick, not too watery, but a pretty fantastic consistency. Leaves a little film in the mouth, with a slight aftertaste, which is kind of unsettling, but entirely acceptable.
This is a damn good beer, yíall.

Iím more of an IIPA kind of guy. Iíll buy almost anything with hop in the title. Too much malt for me but a fine representative of am Imp. Red Ale.
