Like your favorite breakfast treat and a great cup of coffee, Cinnamon Roll’d Wake-n-Bake hits on all cylinders. Starting with a delicious coffee aroma, a touch of Cinnamon gives way to a sugary sweet icing flavor as a buttery nuttiness fills out the last drop of this breakfast in a glass.

Pours pitch black, creamy brown head, and a little alcohol lacing. Tooons of nice roasted coffee up front on the nose, vanilla bean, caramel, dark earthy chocolate, and a subtle hint of cinnamon. Much more of the cinnamon on the taste, it’s kind of a caramelized cinnamon and sugar flavor, nice buttery vanilla flavors, a good oatmeal flavor, a little chocolate, and a great coffee finish. Great beer, though I wish the cinnamon had been a bit more potent. It felt a little weak next to the huge coffee notes.

Draft at Capone’s. Hazy blackish pour with tan head. Nose was roasty dark malt, cacao, cinnamon, nuts. Tastes of dark malt, with more spices, cacao, and late hops.

Dark brown color. Tan head. Cinnamon, coffee, hickory. Same flavors on the nose plus some chocolate. Thin mouthfeel. Short bitter coffee finish.

Black pour with a decent khaki layer of head and light sticky lacing .... Aroma of fresh coffee, light cinnamon, cocoa and roasted malts .... Taste has a sugary sweet flavor, dusty cocoa, spicy cinnamon (has some cinnamon roll to it), vanilla, bitter roasted coffee and light bitter bite ..... Body is thinner than I’d like for an imperial stout .... Finishes with a bitter hop bite, cinnamon, cocoa and coffee .... Abv hidden well

Tasted from the bottle. Pours black with a khaki head. Great aroma of coffee, chocolate, cinnamon, caramel, nuts. Taste is moderately bitter with a moderate sweet malt backbone. Flavors of cinnamon, coffee, chocolate, caramel, maple syrup. Pretty well done. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 ounce bottle into snifter, 2015 vintage bottling. Pours pitch black color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy dark tan head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, toasted oats, dark bread, brown sugar, toffee, fudge, vanilla, light char, and roast/toasted earthiness. Fantastic aromas with awesome complexity and balance of dark/roast/bready malt and spice notes; with great strength. Taste of huge milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, toasted oats, dark bread, brown sugar, toffee, fudge, vanilla, light char, and roast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate roast/char and spice bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of milk/dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, cinnamon, nutmeg, toasted oats, dark bread, brown sugar, toffee, fudge, vanilla, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt and spice flavors; with a great roasted bitter/sweet and spice balance, with zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from roast/spice bitterness as well. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/silky, and fairly sticky/chalky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is an incredible coffee/spiced imperial stout! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt and spice flavors; very smooth and easy to sip on for the big ABV. Really great balance between cinnamon roll and coffee stout flavors. A highly enjoyable offering.

Pours an opaque dark brown with khaki colored head, very thick pour. Coffee, cinnamon rolls, chocolate, vanilla, and nuts on the nose; follows onto the palate. Full bodied and viscous. Finishes with some sweetness and nuttiness to go along with the cinnamon roll.

2015 vintage from trade with jbruner a while back. Poured black with a thin bubbly tan head. Aromas pop out with coffee, cinnamon, and chocolate. Flavor had cinnamon powder at the front for me, coffee mixes in, then is followedby chocolate and vanilla notes. Full body, oily texture, lively carbonation, and a nice smooth finish.

Bottle. Pours black with a thin khaki head. leaves some lacing in the glass. Big coffee notes on the nose. big roasted malt on the tongue along with the cinnamon and the coffee. Hides its booze well. Is sweet without being cloying, Nice example of style, Definitely a nice way to commemorate number 4000!

Small taster pour (ok, it was the last oz in the bottle). Dark, syrupy, cinnamon, coffee and roasted malt nose. Pretty good taste, but the coffee bitterness kind of conflicts with the sweetness.
