Pours a hazy orange with a sudsy white head that lingers. Aromas of floral hops, citrus, and more hops. Taste is also packed with a big hop character and has a bit of pine/grassy notes as well as a bit resiny. Finish is dry and the bitterness lingers for a sec but not long. Probably the most complex beer I’ve had that’s abv is as low as it is. Not bad.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours an oddly cloudy orange with a small off white head. The nose has a light honey note and faint hops. The flavor delivers the same with a touch of grain. Surprisingly subdued hop profile offering little more than a touch of bitterness. Weak offering for these guys.

Bottle a year old. Should probably try fresh. As it was, flat carbonation and little hops most likely due to its age. Some good flavor there that suggests it might be better fresh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The Lost Notebook Files Beer #14. People say that Terrapin’s Recreationale was a reboot of this beer. I don’t believe that to be true, because my thoughts on the two are inconsistent. Pours amber with white head. Great scent of pineapple and grapefruit. Taste is overly bitter and consistency seems synthetic. Bottle - Source Unknown

Hazy golden colored pour. Small white head. Some lacing. A slight malt and hop aroma. Bitter. Taste of malt and hops. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle. Pours a clear golden copper color with a finger of off white head. Aroma of light malts, and citrus hops. Taste is light and smooth. Nice balance of citrus hops, and Bready malts.

Numerous bottles. Great summer offering from terrapin - yellowish color, hoppy aroma - easy to drink, cool and refreshing. Lower alcohol makes it great for a session when its about 100 degrees in NC. Nice beer that I look for every summer. Great from the bottle too, who needs a glass when its that hot outside. This one is really good at just above freezing.

Appearance: Clear straw broken only by a slow steady stream of bubbles that burst into a white bread head that is thick and has no intentions to disappear. Swirls with white bread lace.
Nose: Very fresh, zippy, and zesty. Citrus and pine in the back. Pink and white grapefruit in the middle. Lemon-lime along the edges. White cracker crunch for support. Golden sun-kissed cereal grains.
Palate: Full up front which leads into a nice dry pithy piney finish. Sticky hop resin lips. Full flavor and light body reveal freshly squeezed orange and lemon-lime in the middle. Mint leaf and spearmint in the breath. White crackers provide solid silent stalwart support.
Final Thoughts: A session beer homerun from first quaff to last. The Easy Rider was an easy drink with gobs of flavor to keep even the most jaded flavorholic happy. If Terrapin canned this, it would be the penultimate boat/beach/pool/camping/anywhere beer. Awesome.

Bottle pour at Sybarite Pig. Tulip. Nice two finger head with white foam. Very little lace. Aroma mild with heavy bread and yeast. Light citrus taste with biscuit and hay. The color was a great golden amber with significant gaze. Good session beer with decent taste.
