Bottle from Bruisin’. I fail to see how this could be an amber ale. Pours a cloudy orange/yellow color with a white head. The aroma is impressively hoppy. Nice grapefruity, citrusy nose on this one with a little wood. The palate is quite light and the flavor isn’t very strong, but it is bitter and dry in a very clean, tasty way. It is reminiscent of Highland’s Little Hump in that it is a light bodied beer that does retain great pale ale flavor. Finish is grassy and fruity with plenty of hop bitterness. I still don’t understand the amber ale classification, seems like an American pale ale, and a light one at that. I’d love to have this in cans to drink by the pool.

Total Wine, Fairfax 355ml ($2.50): Pours a copper color with a white head. Aroma is really hopped up, kind of like an IPA. Taste is very much on the hoppy side. Though the body is light, it is in no way thin. Even this is low alcohol, then brewers managed to keep the body in form. I agree with most people that this is rather expensive for what it is, but in terms of well-crafted ales this was a pretty good find.

Served on draft at Beer Run. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a medium sized creamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of floral and herbal hops, guava-like fruits and some caramel. The taste is pale malts with bitter herbal hops. Medium bodied, average carbonation, lingering bitterness. Nice beer.

12oz bottle from smith4498, thanks Jason! Pours a hazed, golden-orange colored body with a finger-width, frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a solid lacing. Aroma has a good amount of lemon-citruses giving off some grass and florals alongside a slightly grainy pale malt backing. Flavor is similar. Grassy, lemon-citruses with a light floral note and a grainy, pale malt backing. Finishes dry, lightly bitter, grassy, clean, and citrusy before leaving a fairly lengthy aftertaste. Light body and a crisp, moderate carbonation. Overall, being listed as an "amber" is incorrect, but nonetheless, this is definitely an enjoyable session beer. Light, crisp, and well hopped, but not overly bitter or off-balanced. Really nice.

You have to remember this is a session beer. As such, to have an ipa flavor, def not an amber ale, its amazing. Pretty great stuff here. Wish this was a regular beer around for the low calorie/alchol high flavor.
