2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not the best cream ale, though, in my opinion, this is a difficult style to make effectively. Palate is sticky and the body is pretty full. Golden color with bready and yeasty aroma, slightly sweet citrus flavor.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sampled from the tap at 5 Seasons Prado. Pours a clear yellowish gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma seems a bit thin but does have a note of sweet grain and hint of hay. Flavor starts slightly sweet but grows to have sweet notes of grain and corn.

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Originally reviewed: 8/17/08. Surprised to find a bottle of this still on the shelf at Bestway in Greensboro.
Pours a cloudy orange-gold with just a ring of head on the top. No lacing. Slightly cloudy. Smells of honey-kissed breads, yeast, apples, and flowers.
Mouthfeel is a little too spritzy for my liking. Like a soda. Flavors are of pear, apples, Belgian yeast, and finishes very spicy. The Belgian in this beer abounds. I was not expecting that. This is really isnít what I was expecting at all. Itís boozy, itís spicy, and itís bubbly. Different.

Eh. The nose is hay a little corn/grain and very subtle floral hops. The beer is golden, kind of hazy, with a small white head. The taste is sweet with some grain and just a touch of hops. The beer is very smooth and crisp.
