“With its golden hue and gentle complexity, the Terrapin Golden Ale brings refreshing to a whole new level. Its combination of flavor, smoothness and drinkability is difficult to find in most craft beers. Sometimes even hopheads like us want nothing more than to enjoy a beer that is crisp, smooth and refreshing. That is why we created the perfect session beer - the Terrapin Golden Ale.”

Hazy golden appearance with a small white head. Flavor is of straw with a little cream vanilla with in. Pretty bland, but unoffensive.

(Thanks, James "jbruner") Can. A- Corn, grains, straw. A- Golden orange color, clear liquid, white head. T- Corn, slightly sweet, grains, cereal, grassy, subtle spice, butter. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, bland finish. O- Let’s be honest, who likes cream ales. It doesn’t take much to dislike them. I can’t say I have any hate against this but I could leave it. Just bland and boring and a bad aftertaste.

As "Golden Ale" in a sweet can. Pours hazy to cloudy straw gold with a bigger foamy, pillowy eggshell head that leaves some spotty lace. Nose involves honey, biscuits, light citrus and spicy hops, and golden malt. Somewhat sweet, lightly bitter. Medium bodied, creamy, slightly oily, with a drying lightly toasty honey malt finish. A really nice drinkable brew that would definitely be good in those steamy Georgia summers. I dig this a lot.

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. Aroma- Corn and grains, pretty bland Appearance- A golden yellow with slight murkiness. Has a small white head. Taste- Malt and corn, not much for me. Palate- A medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation. Overall- A fairly average beer, I expect more from Terrapin.

This is a light colored beer with a very light and fresh taste. This is easy to drink and has a great flavor.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can from jbruner poured into a can. Clear golden with small white head. Aroma is crisp malt, light body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is light fruit, pilsner malt, crisp hops, and dry finish. Easy to drink, but not much flavor.

Old rating. Easy drinker, but nothing especially wonderful. Golden color. Pale malts, mild bitterness, some lemon peel. Not as creamy as I would have thought.

Beautiful golden, carbonated pour with a thick soapy / fluffy, white head that stays around to the end. Pretty average pilsner / pale lager aroma and comparable taste. Tastes like I remember Ice beers tasting when I still enjoyed them so in that respect this is very tasty. This is a very carbonated beer with an almost apple juice alcohol flavor. This would be a perfect tail gate / game day beer.

Bottle from the grocery store. Pours a transparent gold with a thin layer of off white head. Aroma of crisp malts and pine. Taste of malts and slight hints of fruit.

Nice, easy, refreshing and rather light brew with a good balance between malts and hops. Some floweriness that is a little tepid but all in all a quality lawnmower beverage.

bottle @ Habersham Beverage / Savannah GA --- Hazy orange amber color, thin head cover, no lace. Appealing aroma of sweet malt and a bit of orange. Taste is malt that adds toast and dry grass in the palate, turning, first, mildly bitter, then, slightly sour, in a medium finish. Okay, but not much more than that.
