Finally a IPA that’s good that doesn’t run 10+ bucks a sixer. Nice fruity aroma with piney hops(not blatant) really pretty good with summer food esp spicy dishes and fish.

12 oz can courtesy of Mg228. Thanks Mark! The pour is a nice golden orangish color with a thin white head and and some great spotty lace. The aroma is definitely solid. It's citrusy and hoppy, with a little lingering malt that's hat well balanced. The flavor is also good. A little resin on the front, and then it moves through a great citrusy hop, backed up my a light malt profile and through a dry finish. The mouth feel it a bit thin and watery, but a carbonation helps it a little. The aftertaste is lingeringly resiny and full of citrus. Not too bad ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours golden orange with a nice citrus aroma. Body is moderately bitter with a nice balance. Good beer but not enough to be a west coast ipa.

Poured from a 12 oz can. Hazy, dark orange with white foam and good amount of lacing. Floral hop aroma with sweet malty undertones. Well balanced flavor with lots of carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Where and how: can 355ml
Aroma old school West Coast IPA feel. Classic dryness, gold malts with high Alpha profile. Sweet fruity notes, none of harshness often found on lesser brews. Touch of vanilla and mango.
Appearance :
Top: medium white top with sparse lace
Base: mild haze on pale amber.
Palate : medium-full bodied, chewy texture, milder carbonation.
Taste: sweet but not overly, citrus accented by pineapple, mango and lemongrass.
Other notes neat.

12oz can to Packers snifter. Clear yellow orange. Fluffy white head. Citrusy hop aroma. Balanced flavor with slight bitterness on the finish.

Pours from 12 oz can a clear amber, thick head, fine floaties, retaining some good lace. Flavour forward with citrus fruits (mango and papaya), some light sweet but bitter fruit, mild pine, light malty notes for a touch of balance, but the hops again, like the aroma take center stage. Overall a decent balanced IPA that gives you a nice hoppy punch without hanging around too long. Great hot summer day beer.

Can at "Beats and Eats" downtown Wilson, N.C. Aroma of grapefruit, overall good citrus hop. Will give a more detailed rating once I have it out of the proper drinking vessel. Was unable to rate appearance properly, but I will do this soon. Good late summer IPA.

Location: 12 oz can from Hoboken Vine, 9/5/14

Aroma: The nose is fairly subdued, with pine hops, some fruity notes, and a bit of doughy malt
Appearance: It pours a clear orange color with a mid-sized off-white head and mid-heavy lace
Flavor: The taste is quite dry/bitter, some doughy notes, and a bitter, slightly fruity close
Palate: The body is medium-plus, it has an average carbonation, and a lengthy, dry finish
Overall Impression: Interesting example of the style. I found the aroma to be surprisingly bland, actually. The flavor is sort of one-dimensional bitter, but that bitterness is done pretty well. Solid, but not a favorite in the style for me.

Can from Five Points Bottle Shop (Atlanta Highway). Citrusy, grapefruit zest nose. Hazy dark amber color. Caramel, spicy hop bite, light and bready in mid with a bit of pepper. Medium body. Light malt base lets the hopping stand out.

Tasted on 8/27/14 from a can purchased at Craft Brewed. Pours hazy dark orange with a thick white head that leaves thick, sticky lace. The nose is fresh orange and lime juice with a nice caramel backbone. The flavor is fresh bitter orange peel with some lemon peel, a floral note, and light caramel malt, with touch of peppercorn on the back. The body is medium with average carbonation and a long, nicely bitter orange peel and touch of peppercorn finish.
