4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Finally a IPA that’s good that doesn’t run 10+ bucks a sixer. Nice fruity aroma with piney hops(not blatant) really pretty good with summer food esp spicy dishes and fish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
DATE: September 24, 2016... OCCASION: soccer, scouting, and now Penn State/Michigan--a good day... GLASSWARE: Howard’s Pub... clear, golden amber body that has some effervescence... more striking is its thick, white as snow, two-finger head that leaves near-perfect lacing... California IPA-ing, indeed--bright citrus, with orange, grapefruit and lemon, to balance with hints of bread... some flowery notes, and a bit of earthiness... medium-bodied, more active at throat than at the teeth--surprising... the taste is bitter, though not puckerish... the malts form a solid portion of the flavor profile... not as powerful or flavorful as other IPAs, but an agreeable one... as far as Terrapins go, another solid offering, right at home with the other IPAs in this mix pack...

Too watery for my taste for an IPA, that's for sure. Okay, but not something I'd consider a great IPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz can. 1/7/17 code date. Appearance: Light golden, clear, with a thick frothy white head and amazing lacing.
Aroma: Strong citrus and tropical fruit hop notes, with some resinous hop undertones. Almost candy like.
Taste: Light malt sweetness, with a grassy, resinous hop profile more so than citrus. Perceived bitterness is high due to the lighter malt base.
Mouthfeel: Light bodied but not thin, with a moderate carbonation.
Finish: Hop bitterness and grassy flavors linger long after the swallow
Overall: A distinctly different IPA than Hopsecutioner, with a lighter body, citrusy aroma, and grassy hop flavor that dominate the taste profile of the beer. Pretty solid take on the west coast style.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can. It pours a light golden color with an off white head. The aroma is kind of tropical with some grape and a little peach/pineapple. Very fruity hops. The flavor is clean with some berries, a little caramel and spicy hops in the finish. Medium bitterness. The malt is subdued. Enjoyable.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
COD 115/16. Golden pour with a touch of amber. Very good head volume, outstanding lacing and very good retention.
Outstanding nose of sweet citrus (orange, tangerine), a hint of pepper and subtle pear in the background over a solid bready malt base.
Heavy light body that is somewhat smooth. Outstanding carbonation / body balance. The middle is nicely effervescent opening up the flavor fairly well. The finish is prickly.
The flavor profile is good - pretty average for the style. Intensity is a bit low while balance is very good. Bitterness is also a bit low but reasonably intense hop flavor makes the beer adequate. Flavors indicated in the nose appear in normal fashion - rind initially followed by fruit flavor over a modestly sweet middle. The finish lingers as rind with a touch of pepper.

On tap at Terrapin Taphouse at airport. Not too bad but not great. Clear mid orange with low head. Some good aroma with definite malty smell. Slightly sweet on the initial taste fading to some malty flavor. Low bitterness.
