3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sweet aroma for the style. Flavor is loaded with orange, citrus hops and caramel. Undertones of wheat bread. Moderate hop bitterness. Refreshing warm weather beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear copper color with a tan head. The smell is caramel, fruit, citrus. The taste is as it smells ending slightly dry and fruity. Medium body and nicely carbonated. More in the vein of english IPAs.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is a fantastically balanced IPA. There’s enough malt present to keep it from being a bitter-bomb, but there’s not too much to be too sweet or hide the hop subtleties. Caramel flavor gives way to a citrus (lemon-heavy) and pine hop flavor. Bitterness is moderate and very pleasing. If I could only drink 1 IPA and had to pick quickly, I’d take this or Lagunitas IPA.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAR 10, 2014 Appearance: this beer pours with a large creamy beige head, it’s a darker gold almost amber color, very clear, takes a while to pour down
Aroma: citrus, bread, lemon, pine, a bit faint, heavy cream
Taste: subtle grain through out, pine, bitterness, some sweetness but it’s not sweet, citrus from the hops
Palate: average to above average carbonation, heavier mouthfeel, leaves mouth wet, bitter aftertaste
Overall: this beer surprised me but it’s delicious, has lots of subtle flavors to it that blend well, it begs to be drank fast but at over 7% abv take it easy

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Carolina Ale House. Pours clear amber with a white head. Aroma and taste are dominated by crisp citrus hops. A rather strong bitter finish as well. Body is above average. A solid IPA all around. It’s not going to blow you away, but easily drinkable.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Klar orange, fyldigt hvidt skum. Kraftig humlearoma, citrus. Smagen er mere afdæmpet end aroma, med malt og sødme. Tør, rund eftersmag. Meget velbalanceret.
