Pours a thick apple cider color. Aromas are sweet heavy malts, corn syrup, overripe fruit, dank hops. Really thick palate. Nice dank hops, sweet corn malt, and an unpleasant metallic finish.

12oz bottle. Code date of 7/15/15. Appearance: Crystal clear light golden with moderate white foam cap. Aroma: dank, resinous hop dominates with hints of melon and orange citrus. Taste: Light malt sweetness with caramel notes that leads into a sharp but balanced bitterness that is more resinous and earthy than citrus. Just a hint of grapefruit. Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation. I do notice a slight alcohol warmth. Finish: Resinous hop flavor and bitterness lingers. Overall: Iíd characterize this as a lighter intensity American IPA. Nice balance of hop vs malt, but at a lower intensity than most west coast IPAs. Very drinkable and approachable, but would likely disappoint most hopheads.

12oz into large ommengang glass. Pours a nice golden bronzed honey. Might white head, half inch, cloud white, sticky lacing. Aroma of dry pine, citrus melodies, cedar, hops. Taste of orange, pine, grass, with a dry hop presence, not as big and juicy as I was expecting. A decent IPA here, but didnít shine with the expected hop push. Very dry and bitter aftertaste. Orange and hops round out the leftover taste. Fun label, good wording, average IPA, abv is up there and easy to forget about. From mean dean.

Aromas of juicy citrus, some peach, slightly raisiny, some raspberry jam, subtle booze. Clear red, a lasting minimal white ring of head foam. Fruity, nicely balanced, medium bodied.

clear, amber color; citrusy , floral hop aroma with mild pine notes; a well balanced IPA; lots of citrusy, piney hops on a bready malt base

Resinous mix, citrus and sweet bready malts. Nice rich amber color, some unexpected lacing. Medium body, kind or dry for a maltier IPA. Flavor is a hard bitter, balanced out with a sweet malt profile so not really a hop bomb. Good all around IPA that you can drink a few of.

From bottle best before 4-1-2015, or two months from now. Pours amber with a big white head and lots of sticky lacing on the glass. Aroma is a subdued citrus hops. Taste is the same, with some maltiness and a slight bitterness. Slight bitter finish. Oily medium mouthfeel. Good. Easy to drink.

I love Hosecutioner. For me itís a local beer. With that said, there is a slight charcoal taste to it. that I donít like. Still this is a great beer and 2-3 of them will have you buzzing. Their tours are great, if your ever in Athens GA.

Bottle from ABC. Pours a perfect hazy golden amber with a small white head and some serious lacing. This is a beautiful beer, particularly this year. Aromas are hoppy as ever - pine, citrus, grass, floral. Taste is incredible well balanced; sweet, a little bitter, and very smooth. Texture is creamy, body is pretty full, and the finish is long. A favorite at this point. Acquire.
