Orange pour, creamy whitish head. Earthy and citrus hops, honey and caramel malt in the aroma. Flavor attacks with a dose of sweet citrus hops but the malt is ever present. Back and forth they play a game of chess on the tastebuds. Checkmate to...well you decide. Good stuff.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle RBWG 2010. Pours a light orangey copper with a slight haze and thin head. Aroma is a bit solvent, and acetone over some green hops, grassy, some pine and citrus- orange oil as well. Flavor is light caramel malts, grassy and citrus hops, orange oils, pine mint and some more solvent- also as it warms gets notes of strange fusels, off esters- grape? and some spicy grassy phenolics. Meh.

12 oz bottle - pours a hazy copper color with a fine head that has nice retention. Nice floral aromic nose after the pour. Plenty of pine, grapefruit and some caramel and balancing malt. Good bittering of the hops and nice balance. Bitterness is mild on the backside. A really good session beer - very nice - glad IPA season is back!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
In short: A textbook bitter (mostly pine-tree) and somewhat dry IPA. Highly drinkable
How: Tap at Taco Mac Metropolis, Atlanta
The look: Clear golden orange topped by a small off-white head
In long: The very hoppy nose is full of pine-tree and some dry orange peels. Well malted body, toasted caramel biscuity malts. Nice hop kick with a medium level bitterness. Mostly pine-tree with dry grass some citrus notes. The finish is rather dry. I like an IPA that delivers good bitterness and also feels dry despite being well malted. This beer delivers all that. A nice surprise. I visited this Atlanta bar when I had to spend a night in the city because my connection flight to Rome was delayed because of Icelandís #1 export product. Volcanic Ashes.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle. A light copper colored beer with a lasting small white head. Although the hops are in the forefront of the aroma, I was hoping they would be a bit stronger - Mild citrus and pine with some sweet pale malt and biscuit in the nose. The taste seems a bit subdued for a beer named as such; citrus and floral hops are more than apparent, but are balanced by dry biscuity malt as well as some caramel and creamy dextrins. Mild to moderate hop bitterness in the finish.

So the aroma and the taste and the look are just over the top. But then after the drink there is a bit of a late bite. may have it on tap and rate again. Could have been the bottle. I love this IPA.

Dark amber color for an ipa. floral aroma. solid if not complex taste. this isnít your ipa drinkers ipa, but for the price is a solid beer that i would keep in the rotation. Donít get me wrong Iím not complaining, but it is just kind of boring.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours copper with a decent teige head and a citrus and pine aroma. There is a sweet hearty caramel malt flavor countered with fairly extreme hop bitterness. This is a good brew with a nice blend of hops, but is slightly watery.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is a pretty decent IPA. Pours a murky orange with a thick billowy head. Extremely bitter. Pine/Resin taste with a weak grapefruit flavor present. All in all, a pretty good IPA, if you like bitter beers.

On tap at fermentation lounge. big citrus hop aroma. taste was resiny citrus peel. pine and caramel malt sweetness. Didnít quite do it for me at the time, but should be regularly available around here now - so Iím sure Iíll give it another go.
