Bottle at the Jekyll Island Westin with family during the M&D wedding weekend. Pours a dull amber orange body with thin white lacing. Nose is bitter hops and super sweet malt. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with tons of bland bitterness dominating the palate. Limited flavor in this one outside of just general bitterness and of course an overbearing malt character. Maybe this was old, if thatís the case, Iíll revisit when possible.

On tap at Fandangles, Atlanta. Hazy medium orange amber with a generous long lived off white head that leaves lots of lace. Mose is pine dominated with some grass and light bread. Just a light sweetness underneath a much more bitter middle and finish. Mouths is medium slick with average carbonation and a lingering bitter finish. 8+/4/7+/3+/16

DATE: September 25, 2016... OCCASION: a nice afternoon with Rich and Mary finished... GLASSWARE: Kisatsky Tavern pint... first impression: wow, this sizzles as it pours from the can... a thick, foamy two-finger head lifts itself from the glass... even, open crags of bubbles ring the glass, while the white head takes its sweet olí southern time collapsing in its middle... the body, a beautiful, clear amber display of bubbles spinning in torrents... six hops produce a thick, earthy, slightly citric aroma that hints at grapefruit, mint, and resin.... the first sip is a mouthpiece of hops smash, with the activity continuing throughout the drink--a full-bodied, demanding presence... aftertaste is strong, with a spiciness--pepper, something sharper--that makes for a chewable, savorable experience... not to mention, a strong malt base that just makes the profile larger.... at 7.3% ABV, formidable and worth the purchase... among the other IPA mix-pack choices, not heads and shoulders above, but the best of the bunch... they all merit some compliment.... ultimately, not as BIG as other IPAs, nor as diverse..

Hopsecutioner is and excellent IPA and could almost be mistaken for an imperial. Sure hope the fact that Terrapin is now majority owned by Miller/Coors doesnít hurt the quality.

Poor a a orange to light amber with a medium white head. Aroma is a very nice balance between hops and malts with a touch of sweet. A bright and citrusy beer with a good caramel malty back bone. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at 30 90 in Nola. Light copper gold. Clean sweet aroma. Strongly hopped, but has a nice sweet undertone that makes it very pleasant. Alcohol well hidden. Relatively easy to drink without having weak body. This is a good beer to lose your head to.

Pours a clear honey color and has some mild lacing. There is some head retention as well. This has a malty aroma and also some caramel notes. Tastes quite bitter, but the malt definitely comes through at the finish. Overall, this is a nice beer.

Color is red copper. Aroma is heavy on malt with hints of hops. Taste- spicy hops with a strong malt background. Very balanced. More similar to a pale ale than an IPA, IMO. Mouthfeel is heavy; malt lingers. *11 oz pour on draft ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dumb name but a great beer. An overhopped bundle of joy. Digging it. Smells piney and hits all spectrum of hop flavors when you drink it. Good stuff.
