3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz poured into pint glass..pours a nice golden orange color with small head that disappears almost in seconds very little lacing but its there ...I get a strong earthy presence on the nose not much else ...taste is very much the same has a strong malt backbone and an earthy bitter finish that’s kinda on the dry side ...I expected more from this beer as far as flavor go’s but on the fist bottle of the sixer it almost seems the carbonation has faded its almost flat I don’t know if I got a bad batch or what but somethings off I may pick up another to compare it to ...all in all not bad but not great not the most flavorful of IPAs kinda bland and medium on the palate...cheers

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a small, off-white head. Quite malty aroma, with bread notes, some spent grains and a decent amount of citrusy, piney hops. It’s full-bodied, with a nice carbonation level, Some sweetness in the flavor, but the hops dominates. Resins, pine cones and a nice bitterness. Lasting bitter and quite malty finish. Overall, too malty for my liking, but it’s a fine brew indeed. Could easily drink more of it. 150622

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
From notes, sampled on draught and bottled in Athens/GA, IX/2012ish. Restrained floral hops on a clear, honeyed crystal malt base make this an easy, intermediate IPA. Not bursting with C-hop expressivity in aroma, even going on a near-European earthy bitterness in its mid, with some quenching resins to seal the clean, well-mannered deal. Not entirely worth its abv investment.

Pours copper to hazy orange. Aroma is very light hops and some malt. Flavor is medium body with a little toasted malt and some hops. Smooth drinking beer but not a hop head dream.

Hear ye, hear ye... All hopheads shall herewith rejoice! Terrapin hath recruited ye old HOPSECUTIONER to execute the exact hop profile for this killer IPA. You may lose your hophead over this one!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Solid IPA...nice fruity notes with grapefruit in there a bunch. A malt backbone is present and doesn’t present a ton of bitterness or pine but I’m a fan of that.

W aromacie trawa, sosna.
