5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20 BrianGT (1) - USA - NOV 8, 2009 does not count
Had this on cask at the Metropolis Taco Mac the other day, and absolutely loved it. It poured deep amber with minimal head. It had a complex combination of hops that I enjoyed. This has been the first Terrapin IPA that I had tried, but probably my favorite that I have had over the past year.
4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 SPDickerman (698) - Texas, USA - OCT 9, 2011
Pours clear golden amber with a fluffy white head. Smells like big floral and resin hops. Tastes primarily of hop bitterness with some malt sweetness underneath. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and average mouth-carbonation, Terrapin Hopsecutioner finishes with some lingering bitterness.

If you’re looking for a beer with a LOT of HOPS and a smooth finish, then this is a must try! Might be one of my favorite beers (lol for right now anyway!).
Likes - the clarity of the beer, the taste, the hops, smooth finish, gives your mouth a variety to think about
Dislikes - None, great IPA
Enjoy-ability - 9.8 out of 10

lucent coper, thin beige head, sticky medium-full body, medium-high co2.
aroma: resiny citrus hops, caramel malt, combo reminds br of orange blossom honey.
taste: lots of sweet caramel malt, lots of citrusy floral hops, a hint of alcohol warmth in the finish.
very nicely balanced with the hop profile heavy on late additions and dry hoping. very nice quaffable beer, i’ll even disregard the abv and say sessional.

Orange, hazy body with almost no head. Bright, clean, summery aroma. Big flowery hops and very slight roasted malt notes. Bitterness not overwhelming.

My go to IPA. Wonderful citrus hop characteristics, light floral and some solid pine in there. Wonderful orange color with a nice thick head on top. And for the price you cannot beat it.

Sublime aroma of tangerine and thistle. Clear amber, medium white head, good lacing. Richly hopped thistle flavor with pefectly harmonious pine accents. Lemon zest finish. Thinnish mouthfeel. One of the best IPAs in America. Absolutely exquisite! This MUST be a year round brew for Terrapin.

One of my new favorite IPA’s!
Hoppy as hell, of course, but not offensive.
Nice malt balance makes this as smooth an IPA as you’ll find.

The aroma is overwhelmingly bright and is the best thing about this wonderful Hop Head delight. Taste lingers just long enough and allows you to savor just enough between each sip which doesn’t last long. A beer that doesnt stay long in your glass.
