12 oz bottle. Shimmering copper pour beneath a soft beige head with a delicate lacing on the glass. Aroma is strong citrus oils, orange peel, grapefruit juice, caramel, sweet malt, and spicy hops. Taste is delicious! Strong citrusy hops, spicy hops, earthy notes, orange peel, grapefruit pulp, sweet, chewy malt, caramel and light pine. Body is medium and could be a bit chewier, for my liking, but holds up well. Carbonation is lighter but creamy nonetheless. Ends with more citrus oils, orange peel, light pine, caramel, chewy malt, light stickiness and spicy hops. Very tasty and were it not for the 7.2% ABV, this would be a great session style IPA. Very well done.

Golden color with thin lasting off white head with moderate lacing. Sharp smell of hops and citrus, maybe a hint of pine. Taste of hops and citrus, but a lot smoother going down then a lot of other IPA’s. A good beer!

bottle in OBX. Not a real big fan - but this one is much better than the Imperial, Hopszilla.

Heavily hopped but managing to maintain a very pleasant rounded taste. Full flavors and a fair bit of grapefruit in the aroma. Good.

27/VII/14 - 12Fl. Oz. @ pre-Gentse-Feesten-Ponton-Tasting - BB: week 3/VIII/14 (2014-847) Thanks to Dominiek for the bottle!

Clear deep orange beer, aery off-white head, bit creamy, adhesive. aroma: bit floral, soapy touch, yeast notes, peaches. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, very malty, some honey, bit of citrus, bitter hops, bit of exotic fruits. Aftertaste: sweet malt profile, hoppy, caramel. Decent, but probably much better when fresh(er).

Pours clear amber color. Fantastic head retention and lacing throughout the session. Aroma is honey, floral hoppiness, bready malt. Flavor is well balanced between the malt and hops. It is not bitter despite the advertised 78 IBU’s. Slick, creamy mouthfeel, no aftertaste. A solid IPA.

Bottle from Gbbf 2014 and drunk on a train. Clear dark amber colour lasting cream head. Strong piney resiny hop aroma. Decent straight diwn the line American ipa. Requisite hops flavours and supporting malt. Slightly malty than hoppy. Fine but not much to make it stand out. Growing bitterness on the finish is good.
