3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: DEC 5, 2014 So close, and yet so far. The nose has some nice orange peel and slightly pithy grapefruit, paving the way for a solid IPA. Except the palate is deader than dead, with almost none of the vivid tones of the nose. Just becomes a crisp and really boring ipa and all the goodwill evaporates, leaving a hanging tone of disappointment. On draft at every goddamn bar in Gville.

Good DIPA. 10oz pour into tulip. Pours an amber color with a thick white head that sticks around and plenty of carbonation running to the rim. Nose of fresh flowers, hay, and faint pineapple. Bitter on the tongue with a dry finish and medium carbonation.

Bottle - Pours a slightly hazy amber/orange with a big, creamy head that also had large bubbles. Aromas of orange, mango, and pine. Aromas meld well in the taste with some bitterness. Good balance, clean finish, nice IPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Broadway Brewhouse. Served in a snifter and a bright vibrant orange. The aroma is sweet juicy hops, but not overpowering. The taste is a nice mix of hops, but almost lacking the pronounced hop profile. Good ipa though.
