Bottle courtesy of Kiefdog, a great trader. A nice, sweet stout, similiar to chocolate milk. Lactose flavors very prominent. Not too bad at all.

Pours a dark black with a slightly brown creamy head that dissipates quickly. Very little lacing on glass. Aroma is nice and full of dark roasty coffee and chocolate notes. Mouthfeel discovers some over-carbonation but a good body overall. Taste is bitter and full of dark roasted malt and more coffee and chocolate. Good beer, but a little heavy on the coffee taste. Id leave that to Wake & Bake.

On draft at Capones. Pours a dark brown black color with a medium sized light brown head. Aroma of milk chocolate, sweet malt and milk sugar. Taste of sweet milk chocolate, malt and lactose.

Pours black with a brown head that dissipated to edges. Smell is coffee and bitter chocolate malts. Taste has some bitterness, chocolate and dirt on a smooth palate. Overall it combines into a quite enjoyable brew!

Bottle thanks to 50belair. Dark brown pour, small tan head. Flavor is dominated by sweet milk chocolate (surprise!), caramel malt, and lightly roasty. Decent, but too sweet for my liking.

Bottle shared by suzygreenberg. Nose is chocolate milk notes, underlying roasted malts, nice cocoa and lightly earthy notes. Pours dark brown, almost black, thin tan head. The flavor is nice and chocolate. some underlying roated malts and husky darker malts as well, but mostly chocolatey and moderately sweet. Light earth, nice chocolate. Creamy smooth body.

A very good, very smooth stout. Tastes like a glass of milk flavored with chocolate powder and a tiny bit of bourbon. But less sweet. And more beer tasting.

(bottle) A black body and a chocolate head of lace. A sweet, rich aroma of chocolate, coffee with notes of bitter milk. Light to medium body, lightly carbonated. Flavor is caramel malt, chocolate, and lactose; sweet. Maybe a little too much lactose acidity for my taste, but great chocolate flavor. The sweetness is smooth, not over-powering.

12 oz bottle - Pours a rich silky black with a nice brown head and plenty of lacing. Aroma is malty chocolate, coffee, and milky. Taste is a malty, creamy chocolate with a coffee finish - tastes like it was mixed with the same half and half I would put in my coffee.. very nice. The mouthfeel is quite smooth. This was a great beer that I am looking forward to drinking again as I make my way through the 6 pack.

UPDATED: JUN 29, 2013 One of the more drinkable beers Ive had recently, so that earns it props. A nicely smooth and creamy milk stout body. Chocolate is well-balanced, leaning towards the sweet side but not nearly on the level of ST Choklat. Slightly bitter finish. Definitely my favorite Terrapin beer so far. My roommate loved this one.
