Dark brown, almost black appearance. Not much head. Smell of malt and chocolate. A lot of chocolate, some malt with a little hop bitterness. Good stuff.

355 ml. bottle from Systembolaget. Pitch black with a creamy, tanned head. Sweet, roasted aroma with cocoa, lactic notes, dark malts, caramel, coffee, chocolate and herbal hops. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes sweet and roasted with cocoa and coffee. Nice Stout.

APPEARANCE- Beautiful right out of the can. Dark black, medium colored nougat colored frothy head that clings to the side of my plastic cup. NOSE- very roasty and sweet with hints of deep cocoa. FLAVOR- somewhat flat flavor (not carbonation-wise). Slightly sweet, fairly thin mouth feel. NOTES- good stout, but nothing really outstanding about it. Actually a bit of a let down after the beauty of the scent it exuded.

Pretty rich and a bit too sweet for me. Anne spotted this cheap can. Very nice nose. Starts good taste wise and ends cloying.

On tap, poured into an IPA glass. The aroma is without a doubt a rich, smooth chocolate milk. The beer itself appears as a dark, black-brown beer topped by a tan, creamy head that has good, fuzzy retention and abundant sheet lace. The taste is a medium high sweet and light bitter. The smooth texture has a creamy carbonation and a medium body. It tastes like chocolate ice cream with a hint of berry sweetness and finishes smooth with more chocolate ice cream flavors with a hint of a bourbon vanilla / caramel late. The aftertaste is, surprise, chocolate ice cream that tails off to reveal a light bready character and then a dry, grassy cleanliness.
