You can smell coco beans, but the aroma is surprisingly mild. The look is very dark, but it tastes too watery for my tastes. I was expecting better.

Pour is dark brown with a small dark tan head. Aroma is lighty and a little bitter and malty. Starts out bitter and big but finsh is more milk chocolate and creamy.

Pour is a dark black with a deep caramel head. Nose has a heavy roast that really dominates and doesn’t allow much chocolate, the hints I get are bitter and dry chocolate. Taste has much more chocolate, the body gets very thin towards the back with the roast lingering through a short and under carbonated finish. The roast doesn’t really come through the flavor (just lingers after the finish). There is some rich milk chocolate but still a fair bit of dry and bitter chocolate. Not very well done.

First impression is that it is super sweet. Kind of like cream soda. Not sure if it lacking hops or malt is overpowering. Maybe I have just been drinking better stouts lately (YVBC) Baltic porter bells expedition. Has solid chocolate notes and a lighter mouthfeel than I would expect. Usually a big fan of stouts but not this one b

Rcvd through trade. Into a nonic, I poured a gentle dark brown body with a three finger off-white head that quickly settles to one finger leaving some nice clingy light lacing in rings above the bulb of my nonic. The head is level with some small light bubbles noticed in the center. The aroma has a strong milk chocolate up front, some light alcohol in the background. The taste has some sweet but balanced milk chocolate that seems a bit more balanced, and has a slight bitter acceptable aftertaste. On the palate, hmmm...I would say its about a light to medium, sessionable, creamy, carbonation is barely felt, sweet sticky finish. Overall, what a nice milk/sweet stout, I’d have this one again, maybe not a superior beer, but still good.

Bottle. Pours near black with a beige head. Big semi-sweet chocolate right up front, with lighter roasted malts, moderate sweetness overall, and nice lingering chocolate flavor without any cloying sweetness. Good stuff.

Pours a dark chocolate opaque color with thick tan head. Smells of roasts with cocoa notes. A very creamy feel. Tastes like roasted cocoa beans with a slight coffee flavor. Tasty.

Pours a dark, dark brown with a cinnamon color head that quickly disappears. Leaves decent lacing. Nose of cocoa and toasted malts. Taste of chocolate, some bitter hops - quite nice. A very good milk stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pour from bottle at home. Smell of chocolate and sweet coffee. Taste was hints of sweet chocolate, caramel, and coffee. Pours a dark brown color with a light tan head. Overall good beer.

It had a faint chocolate malt. Taste was a dark chocolate, but with a weird blend of alcohol I didn’t love, coulda been smoother.
